25 oz frozen cheese ravioli (keep the pasta frozen)
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
2 cups spaghetti sauce
parmesan cheese (to taste)

Steps:

  • Preheat your oven to 400 degrees.
  • Pour 1 cup of the spaghetti sauce into the bottom of a 9x13 dish. Layer with half of the frozen ravioli & half of the mozzarella cheese. Layer the other half of the frozen ravioli, remaining cup of spaghetti sauce, & remaining cup of mozzarella cheese over top. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
  • Bake, covered with aluminum foil, for 30 minutes. Remove tin foil & continue to cook for 10-15 minutes. Sometimes I will turn the oven up to broil at the very end for a minute to brown the top a little bit more, but that's not necessary.

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (8 oz)
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350°F. Spray bottom and sides of rectangular baking dish, 13x9x2-inches, with cooking spray.
  • Spread 3/4 cup of the pasta sauce in baking dish. Arrange half of the frozen ravioli in single layer over sauce; top with half of the remaining pasta sauce and 1 cup of the mozzarella cheese. Repeat layers once, starting with ravioli. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  • Cover with foil; bake 40 minutes. Remove foil; bake 15 to 20 minutes or until bubbly and hot in center. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.

1 ⅓ lb ravioli
2 ¼ cups bolognese sauce
shredded cheddar cheese

Steps:

  • NOTE: We used about 600g of each, Ravioli (1 ⅓lb) and Bolognese sauce (2 ¼cup). Depending on your pan size this will vary.
  • Cover the base of a deep dish baking tray with a layer of ravioli.
  • Cover this with a thin layer of bolognese sauce, use the back of a spoon to spread it around evenly.
  • Sprinkle a thin layer of grated cheddar over the bolognese sauce.
  • Put down another layer of ravioli, followed by another layer of bolognese sauce.
  • Cover all of this with a generous topping of more grated cheese.
  • Cover the tray with tin foil and bake in the center of a pre-heated oven for 35 mins. 200°C (400°F) Gas Mark 6.
  • Remove the tin foil and bake for a further 8-10 minutes, or until the cheese on top has melted and browned a bit.

It's comes out of the oven just like lasagna, but without all of the hassle.

1 (24oz) bag of frozen cheese ravioli
1 (24oz) jar of marinara or pasta sauce
2 cups shredded mozzarella ((heaping))
1/2 cup shredded parmesan ((optional))

Steps:

  • Preheat your oven to 400 degrees and grease a 9x13 baking dish.
  • Spread a thin layer of your marinara sauce onto the bottom of the pan (about 3/4 cup).
  • Arrange half of the frozen ravioli in a single layer over the sauce (should be about 12 of them).
  • Top with half of the remaining sauce and half of the mozzarella.
  • Repeat the layers starting with what's left of the ravioli. Finish by topping with the remaining sauce and cheese. Sprinkle with parmesan if you'd like.
  • Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil, and bake for 30 minutes. Remove the foil, and continue baking for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cheese starts to brown.

375 grams Italian sausage ((mild or spicy) about ¾ pound)
1 medium onion
3 cups marinara or tomato pasta sauce
2 teaspoons minced garlic
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
500 grams fresh cheese ravioli ((about 1 pound))
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
2 tablespoons shredded Parmesan cheese
fresh basil for garnish if desired

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F and lightly grease a 9x13" baking dish.
  • In a large skillet, cook Italian sausage and onion over medium heat until sausage is browned.
  • Stir in tomato sauce, garlic and Italian seasoning and simmer on low while you cook the ravioli.
  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook ravioli for 2-3 minutes, just until al dente. Reserve 1 cup pasta water and drain the rest.
  • Stir ¾ cup pasta water into the sauce -- it will look thin, but it will keep the pasta nice and saucy as it bakes! You can add up to 1 cup if you prefer.
  • Add cooked ravioli and sauce to pan, and toss lightly to coat. Top with mozzarella and parmesan cheese, and bake for 15 minutes or until cheese is starting to brown.
  • Top with fresh basil or other herbs before serving if desired.
