Weight Watcher 1 Point Banana Bread--Flex Points image

Moist and tasty! For those on WW, it's an easy, economical homemade alternative to buying the overpriced WW baked goods in the grocery store. This recipe is courtesy of the WW website.

3 bananas, mashed
1 cup Splenda sugar substitute
1/2 cup natural applesauce
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • In a mixer, mash bananas, add Splenda and mix.
  • Mix in rest of indgredients.
  • Pour ingredients into a bread pan sprayed with non-stick spray.
  • Bake for 50 to 60 minutes; cake tester should come out clean when done.
  • Remove from pan and cool on a wire rack.
  • *If using a dark coated pan, bake at 325 degrees and bake a little longer; cake tester to should come out clean when done.

1/2 cup cocoa
1 cup powdered fat free non-dairy coffee creamer
1 cup nonfat dry milk powder
Sweet 'n Low
hot water

Steps:

  • Mix the three dry ingredients together in a ziploc bag.
  • Add 2-3 tbsp of the dry mix to a cup of water.
  • Microwave on high for 90 seconds.
  • Add sweet n low to taste.
  • Enjoy and don't feel guilty!

3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
3 tablespoons sugar
1/2 cup water
2 cups soymilk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Steps:

  • Combine the cocoa, sugar, and water in a small saucepan, and whisk until smooth.
  • Place over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture comes to a boil.
  • Simmer, stirring constantly, for 1 minute.
  • Whisk in the milk and cook, stirring often, until steam rises and mixture is hot.
  • Do not boil.
  • Stir in the vanilla.
  • Pour into mugs and serve at once.
