TUNA PINWHEELS

- Add the cream cheese and dill weed to a small bowl and mix together until fully combined.
- Wash the cucumber in cold water, then cut it in half and chop half of it into small pieces.
- Spread ¼ of the mixture onto each tortilla.
- Spread ½ can of tuna onto each tortilla.
- Sprinkle ¼ of the cucumber chunks onto each tortilla.
- Starting at one end of each tortilla, start rolling, and roll until you meet the other end.
- Chill for 1 hour in the refrigerator.
- Cut into 1 inch pieces, arrange flat on a platter to serve.

- In a small bowl, mix a small amount of wasabi with the tamari and the oil. Add the scallions and tuna, and mash with a fork to combine.
- Heat a large skillet over high heat and blister the tortilla for about 30 seconds on each side to soften and toast. Transfer the tortilla to the countertop and let cool for about 1 minute. Top the tortilla with an even layer of the greens and then the tuna salad.
- Fold 2 sides of the tortilla over the tuna and tightly roll up the tortilla to enclose the salad. Cut into 1-inch-thick slices to make the pinwheels.

terribly addictive party food but it's reasonably healthy so that's ok. cooking time is chill time. edited due to reviews: they can get a bit overly wet, try making the salad a few hours to a day beforehand and then scooping out with a slotted spoon to leave the liquid behind. this also infuses the veggies like a marinade. they wont be terrible colourful unless you use a light-coloured vinegar and mix the dressing in right before serving. i like balsamic but i generally choose taste over appearances if i have to choose.

- whisk dressing together, mix veggies in a large bowl and toss with dressing. you can cheat and chop the veggies in a food processor since they should be finely chopped anyways.
- spread filling on tortillas, leave a 3/4 inch border. roll up tightly.
- chill for at least an hour to let everything set.
- slice into 1/2-1 inch disks, if falling apart you can hold them together with toothpicks. arrange nicely on a platter.

- Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Sift flour, baking powder, and salt together.
- Blend in shortening.
- When mixture looks like coarse corn meal, add milk.
- Turn onto floured board.
- Roll out into a sheet 8 inches square.
- Mix tuna, celery, onion, parsley, and 6 tablespoons cream of mushroom soup together. Cover dough.
- Roll up like a jelly roll.
- Cut into 8 slices.
- Place slices close together on a greased baking sheet, cut side down.
- Bake 30 minutes or until brown.
- Meanwhile, for the sauce, heat milk and rest of can of cream of mushroom soup.
- Stir in cheese and cook until bubbly, stirring constantly.
