A different twist to a standard punch. Brewed tea is mixed with orange juice, pineapple juice, lemonade and ginger ale.

1 cup white sugar
1 cup strong brewed black tea
4 cups orange juice
4 cups pineapple juice
4 cups prepared lemonade
1 (2 liter) bottle ginger ale, chilled

Steps:

  • In a pitcher, combine sugar and tea. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Stir in orange juice, pineapple juice and lemonade. Chill in refrigerator for 4 hours.
  • Just before serving, pour chilled juice mixture into a punch bowl and stir in ginger ale.

3 cups boiling water
12 sprigs fresh mint
4 tea bags
1 cup white sugar
1 cup orange juice
¼ cup lemon juice
5 cups cold water
3 orange slices for garnish
3 lemon slices for garnish

Steps:

  • Place the tea bags and mint sprigs into a large pitcher. Pour boiling water over them, and allow to steep for about 8 minutes. Remove and discard the tea bags and mint leaves, squeezing out excess liquid. Stir in sugar until dissolved, then stir in the orange juice and lemon juice. Pour in the cold water. Serve over ice cubes, garnished with orange or lemon slices.

10 whole cloves
2 cinnamon sticks
2 cups cranberry juice
1-1/2 cups white grape juice
1/2 cup packed brown sguar
Orange slices and additional whole cloves, optional

Steps:

  • In a medium saucepan, bring water to a boil. Turn off heat; add tea bags, cloves and cinnamon sticks. Cover and steep for 5 minutes. Remove tea bags. Stir in the juices and brown sugar; heat through. Remove spices. Garnish with clove-studded orange slices if desired.

1 (16 ounce) can unsweetened pineapple juice
1 (16 ounce) can frozen orange juice

  • Make tea in regular manner.
  • Add the sugar while the tea is hot.
  • When cool add the juices and ginger ale.
  • Mix well and put in tightly closed bottles or plastic cartons in the refrigerator.
