A great candy to make for the holiday Season, or just to have for that sweet fix that you may need!!

Yield 36-48 clusters

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 1/2 cups sugar
1/2 cup molasses
1/4 cup water
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon butter
2 cups walnuts

Steps:

  • Cook sugar, molasses, water and salt until small quantity dropped into cold water forms semi-firm ball (245F). Remove from heat, add butter and walnuts. Stir until mixture begins to look cloudy. Drop from a spoon on a buttered cookie sheet.

4 ounces milk chocolate candy coating
4 ounces white candy coating
1 can (16 ounces) salted peanuts (about 2-1/2 cups)

Steps:

  • In a microwave, melt candy coatings, stirring often until blended. Stir in the peanuts until coated. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto a waxed paper-lined baking sheet. Refrigerate until serving.

These cookies are great for anytime, after school snacks,unexpected company, or just when you'd like a minute for yourself. Recipe is from Diamond walnut package.

Number Of Ingredients 10

1 (6 ounce) package semi-sweet chocolate chips, divided
1/2 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 egg
2 tablespoons milk
1 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup coarsely chopped walnuts (Diamond)

Steps:

  • Melt 1/2 of the chocolate chips over hot, boiling water.
  • Cream together shortening, sugar and vanilla until fluffy.
  • Blend in melted chocolate and egg; beat well.
  • Stir in milk.
  • Sift flour with baking powder and salt.
  • Blend dry ingredients into creamed mixture.
  • Stir in remaining chocolate pieces and walnuts.
  • Drop by teaspoonfuls, about 2 inches apart, onto ungreased baking sheet.
  • Bake at 350 degrees about 15 minute.
  • Cool on wire rack.
