2 cans (5 oz each) tuna, drained

2 teaspoons lemon juice
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 medium stalk celery, chopped (1/2 cup)
1 small onion, chopped (1/4 cup)

Steps:

  • Cook macaroni as directed on package, adding peas for last 4 to 6 minutes of cooking; rinse with cold water and drain.
  • In large bowl, mix macaroni, peas and remaining ingredients. Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour to blend flavors.

2 x packs ready-cooked pasta (we used Dolmio Express), or 440g leftover cooked penne (about 200g dried)
100g can tuna in oil
400g can cannellini bean , (borlotti or butterbeans are also good)
1⁄2 red onion , finely chopped
zest and juice 1 lemon
large handful parsley

Steps:

  • Microwave the cooked penne according to pack instructions. Tip into a bowl. Mix through the remaining ingredients (the warm pasta will really soak up the flavours). If using chilled leftover pasta, simply mix everything together - it will still taste great. Can be kept in the fridge for up to 3 days.

16 ounces uncooked small pasta (like shells or farfalle)
17- ounces canned white albacore tuna (packed in water, drained** (see notes))
1 cup mayonnaise
1 teaspoon yellow mustard
½ teaspoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon fresh dill
½ cup diced celery
½ cup diced red onion
½ cup pickle relish
Salt and pepper

Steps:

  • Bring a large pot of water to boil. Add salt and the pasta. Cook to al dente (according to package instructions. Drain and rinse with cold water to stop the cooking process. Set aside.
  • In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, mustard, garlic powder, lemon juice and fresh dill.
  • Combine all ingredients together in a large bowl. Season to your liking with salt and pepper.
  • Serve at immediately or chilled. Store in an air-tight container for up to 3 days in the refrigerator.

It's wonderful in the summer as a light dinner served with blueberry or pineapple muffins. The secret is to used canned tuna in vegetable oil rather than water--it makes a more moist, delicate salad overall.

1 (12 ounce) can tuna in vegetable oil
1 (16 ounce) bag tri-colored rotini pasta
1 1/2 cups hellman's or duke's mayonnaise
1 (14 ounce) can chicken broth
1/2 cup chopped celery
1/2 cup chopped carrot
1/2 cup chopped yellow sweet onion (finely)
2 teaspoons dried dill weed
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon lemon juice

Steps:

  • In a large 3 qt pot, mix can of chicken broth with enough water to cook pasta. Add 2 t. salt to pot. Put in package of rotini and follow package directions for MINIMUM cook time. Drain pasta immediately and flush with cold water until all pasta is cool and has stopped cooking entirely. Set aside.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise with dill, pepper, and lemon juice.
  • Add pasta to mayonnaise mixture.
  • Drain can of tuna completely and add to pasta.
  • Add chopped onions, celery, and carrots.
  • Stir well until everything is combined.
  • Refrigerate for at least two hours; add salt to taste and stir.

2 (12 ounce) cans solid white Albacore tuna (not chunk light), drained well
6 cups cooked medium-sized pasta shells

2 stalks celery, minced

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, combine the mayonnaise, sour cream, dijon, sugar, dill, salt, and pepper and whisk to combine.

4 hard-boiled eggs (chopped)

2 tsp seasoning salt
3-4 Tbs sugar

Steps:

  • Cook your pasta in large pot with salted water until al dente, about 15 minutes, remove and strain water then run under cool water to stop cooking and cool down pasta.
  • In large nowl add your tuna, eggs, onion and peas.
  • Add in your drained pasta and stir to combine, set aside.

3 hard-boiled eggs
12 oz elbow macaroni
10 oz tuna in water
1/4 cup chopped onion
3/4 cup mayonnaise
1/4 tsp black pepper
Pinch of salt
1 stalk celery
2 tbsp chopped dill

Steps:

  • Fill a small pot of lukewarm water and place 3 large eggs inside. Make sure the eggs are completely submerged. Let it the water come to a boil. Then turn the heat off, cover with a lid, and set your timer for 8 minutes.
  • Carefully transfer the hard-boiled eggs to an ice bath and peel the eggs once they're cooled.
  • Then chop the eggs into fine pieces.
  • Now cook 12 oz of elbow macaroni in Pot of water al dente. Make sure to Salt the water really well.

2-1/2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
1-1/2 tablespoons dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice, plus more to taste
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese (optional)
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper, plus more to taste
1-1/2 cups good extra-virgin olive oil
4 cups gluten-free rigatoni noodles (cooked al dente)
2 (5 ounce) cans whole chunk tuna (packed in water )
3/4 cup frozen peas
1/2 cup celery, chopped
4 green onions, finely sliced (white and light green parts only)
2 medium tomatoes, chopped
1 cup kalamata olives, sliced
1/4 cup pepperoncini, sliced
1/4 cup fresh flat leaf parsley, coarsely chopped
3/4 cup Best Foods Mayonnaise (add more as needed)
5 tablespoons Italian Vinaigrette (use your favorite bottled brand or try my recipe for Italian Vinaigrette)

Steps:

  • In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook pasta according to the package directions or until al dente, rinse under cold water and drain.
  • Place the peas in a colander and pour boiling water over them. Drain and set aside to cool.
  • In a small bowl whisk the mayonnaise and Italian Vinaigrette until well blended. (If you don't have bottled Italian dressing and don't want to make a large batch of fresh dressing, you can whisk the mayonnaise with 3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil, 2 tablespoons lemon juice, 1 teaspoon dried oregano and 1/4 teaspoon dried basil)
  • Place the tuna in a large bowl. With a fork, break up the tuna.
  • Add the pasta, celery, green onion, and peas. Pour the mayonnaise dressing over the ingredients and gently toss to coat the ingredients well. Mound on a platter and top with the chopped tomatoes, kalamata olives, parsley and pepperoncini.
  • Toss all ingredients together just before serving so the tomatoes won't get soggy.
  • Combine the vinegar, oregano, lemon juice, garlic, Parmesan cheese, and pepper in a medium bowl and whisk to combine the ingredients.
  • Set aside for 5 minutes to marinate the oregano and basil.
  • Add the olive oil in a slow thin stream, whisking constantly to combine.
  • If you're in a hurry, just add all of the ingredients to a glass jar with a lid and shake to combine.
