This Tequila Thyme Lemonade is a super simple summer cocktail made with homemade lemonade and fresh thyme. It's light and refreshing and perfect for enjoying in the sunshine!

3 sprigs thyme
1 tsp granulated sugar
2 lemn wedges
3 oz. silver/blanco tequila
1 1/2 oz. cold water
2 1/2 tsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
Ice

Steps:

Add thyme sprigs, sugar, and lemon wedges to a glass and muddle together.
Add cold water, lemon juice, and ice and stir.
Garnish with additional lemon rounds and thyme sprigs, if desired.

Steps:

Muddle thyme sprigs with superfine sugar and lemon wedges in a glass. Add silver tequila, cold water, and ice. Stir.

Bring 1 bunch thyme and 1 1/2 cups each sugar and water to a simmer in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Let cool, then strain the syrup into an ice-filled pitcher. Stir in 2 cups each fresh lemon juice and cold water. Serve over ice with thyme sprigs and lemon slices.
