Fresh, fruity flavor makes this pretty salad popular with all ages. Our whole family really digs into its fluffy goodness. I can put it together in the morning or even the night before and pop it in the fridge until suppertime. -Denise Nebel, Wayland, Iowa

3 cups water
1 package (3 ounces) orange gelatin
1 package (3.4 ounces) instant vanilla pudding mix
1 package (3 ounces) tapioca pudding mix
1 can (15 ounces) mandarin oranges, drained
1 can (8 ounces) crushed pineapple, drained
1 carton (8 ounces) frozen whipped topping, thawed

Steps:

  • In a saucepan, bring water to a boil. Whisk in gelatin and pudding mixes. Return to a boil, stirring constantly; boil for 1 minute. Remove from the heat and cool completely. Fold in oranges, pineapple and whipped topping. Spoon into a serving bowl. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours.

2 (4 ounce) packages vanilla tapioca pudding mix
1 (6 ounce) package strawberry Jell-O gelatin dessert
3 cups water
1 (8 ounce) container whipped topping, frozen and thawed
1 1/2 cups strawberries, fresh and sliced

Steps:

  • Mix tapioca pudding and Jell-O with the water and boil rapidly for 1 minute over medium heat, stirring.
  • Chill until thickened.
  • Fold in whipped topping & strawberries.
  • Pour into a 9x12" dish & refrigerate until firm.
  • Cut into squares to serve, if desired can put cut salad on a small lettuce lined plate.
  • It is also good using raspberry flavored Jell-O & raspberries in place of the strawberry.

2 (3 1/2 ounce) packages vanilla americana tapioca pudding (not instant)
1 (3 ounce) box orange Jell-O
3 cups water
1 can mandarin orange, drained
1 1/2 cups Cool Whip

Steps:

  • Mix pudding and jello with water and microwave 8 minutes on"High", stir every 2 minutes.
  • Remove and chill until almost set.
  • Add oranges and Cool Whip; mix.
  • Chill until set.

This is a delightfully light gelatin dessert with small pearls of tapioca mixed in. You may use any flavor of gelatin mix that you like, and even stir in your favorite fruit when you fold in the whipped cream.

5 cups water
1 cup small pearl tapioca
1 (3 ounce) package strawberry flavored Jell-O®
1 cup white sugar
2 cups heavy cream

Steps:

  • Bring the water to a boil in a saucepan. Remove from heat and pour in the tapioca pearls. Cover, and let stand for 30 minutes. If the mixture is clear, it is done. If not, set over low heat and warm slowly until it becomes clear. Heat the water to almost boiling if you did not have to reheat, and stir in the gelatin and sugar until dissolved. Cover, and refrigerate until almost set, about 1 1/2 hours.
  • In a large bowl, whip the cream using an electric mixer until fluffy. Fold into the gelatin mixture, and pour into a bowl or mold. Chill until set, about 2 hours.

1/2 cup tapioca
1 (3 1/2 ounce) box strawberry gelatin
3 cups warm water
2 cups sliced fresh strawberries
1 (8 ounce) container Cool Whip, thawed

Steps:

  • In a saucepan mix together vanilla pudding mix, tapioca and strawberry gelatin. Stir in warm water. Cook over medium heat until thickened. Remove from the heat and chill in the refrigerator until slightly thickened but not set.
  • Stir in sliced strawberries; mix well. Fold in whipped topping until blended. Pour into a 9-inch square pan.
  • Refrigerate 4 hours or overnight.
  • Cut into squares to serve.

Steps:

  • Bring water, sugar, and tapioca to a boil, stirring often until the tapioca is clear.
  • Remove from heat and add the package of jello.
  • Cool to set until consistency is like jelly.
  • Add cool whip and frozen raspberries.

1 (8 ounce) tub frozen whipped topping, thawed

Steps:

  • Bring the water to a boil in a large saucepan. Whisk in the orange gelatin mix, vanilla pudding mix and tapioca pudding mix. Return to a boil and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly. 3 cups water
1 can Dole pineapple chunks (or tidbits), drained
1 can 3 Diamond mandarin oranges, drained
1-2 cups Jet-Puffed Mini Marshmallows
1 pint whipping cream, whipped or 1 tub (8 oz.) Cool Whip

Steps:

  • Mix orange Jell-O and 2 packages tapioca pudding with the 3 cups water. Cook until bubbly and stirring constantly. COOL completely.
  • Mix in pineapple, mandarin oranges, and marshmallows. Mix in whipping cream or Cool Whip.
  • Blend well and chill.
