Steps:
- Make meatballs: Mix ground beef, onions, bread crumbs, egg, and seasoned salt together to form walnut sized meatballs. Add a bit more bread crumbs if the meat doesn't hold together well, or if it is too dry add a bit of olive oil.
- In deep saucepan, over medium-high heat, heat the 2 tablespoons of olive oil.
- Saute meatballs, turning often, until cooked through.
- In a crockpot, put the cranberry sauce, beef broth, brown sugar, onions, vinegar, ketchup, cayenne pepper and Worcestershire sauce. Mix together.
- Add meatballs .
- Cook on high about two hours, stirring often.
- When ready to serve, season with salt and pepper to taste.

CRANBERRY SWEET AND SOUR SAUCE
I made this sauce over meatballs at my daughter's wedding reception. It was a hit. Nice change from your regular sweet and sour. The cranberries give it just enough tartness. This recipe makes a lot so you may want to cut it down for smaller portions. It was enough for 280 1" meatballs.

- Mix brown sugar and cornstarch together in a medium sauce pan.
- Stir in cranberry sauce, pineapple juice, vinegar, and soy sauce.
- Cook over medium heat until thickened, stirring often.
- Bring to a boil and boil for one minute, stirring constantly.
- Serve over meatballs, chicken, roast pork, stir fried meats or vegetables.
- Makes about 8 cups.

- In a medium bowl, combine the ground beef, egg, bread crumbs and onion. Mix thoroughly and shape into golf ball-sized balls.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, gently brown the meatballs and set aside.
- In a large saucepan, combine the brown sugar, flour, water, white vinegar and soy sauce. Mix thoroughly. Add meatballs and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, stirring often, for 30 minutes.

This is a recipe my mom made for years and years. I've made it for parties as well as when I've had company over for supper. Everyone loves these meatballs. These meatballs are made without the addition of pineapple.

- For meatballs: Mix all ingredients (minus oil) together. Form into balls. Fry in oil until golden then place on paper towel to drain. Set aside
- For Sauce: In medium saucepan, fry onion in oil until tender. Add all other sauce ingredients and simmer 20 minutes. Add meatballs and cook 1 hour on medium. Serve and Enjoy!
- *You can also place browned meatballs and sauce mix into crock pot.

- If you can’t find small pieces of TVP, you can pulse large pieces in a food processor before hydrating.
