SWEET AND SALTY POPCORN SNACK MIX
This Sweet and Salty Popcorn Snack Mix is a special treat on movie night, a great tailgate snack or just perfect for birthday party treat bags!

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 300 degrees F. Line a large rimmed baking sheet with heavy duty foil and spray lightly with non-stick cooking spray.
- Pour popped popcorn out onto foil lined baking sheet. Pick out any kernels. Add Crispix and pretzels and spread out evenly with popcorn.
- Melt butter in a large, heavy saucepan over medium heat. Add brown sugar, corn syrup, and salt. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly, and then allow to boil for two minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and use a spoon to drizzle the mixture over the popcorn mixture in an even stream. Toss the popcorn mixture lightly to distribute and then spread it back out in an even layer.
- Bake for 10 minutes. Use a spatula to stir the mixture and bake for an additional 10 minutes. Remove from oven and stir once more. Spread the mixture back out in an even layer and allow to cool for 10 minutes or until cool enough to handle. Break apart and allow to cool completely. Add peanut M&M's and toss to combine.
- Store in an airtight container or zippered plastic storage bags.

- Stir the confectioners' sugar, paprika, salt, garlic powder, cumin and cayenne together in a small bowl. Heat the coconut oil in a very large pot with a lid over medium heat. Add the popcorn and half of the sugar mixture, cover the pot and shake to coat. Add the remaining sugar mixture and continue to shake until well coated. Serve immediately.
SWEET SALTY PINK POPCORN RECIPE

- Place popped corn into one or two large bowls and set aside.
- Stir milk, corn syrup and salt together in a small saucepan. Pour sugar into the center of the saucepan, being careful not to get any on the sides of the pot. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring until sugar is completely dissolved.
- Stir occasionally until mixture reaches 230°F, the soft ball stage. (candy thermometer)Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and food coloring (several drops of red should do, or about 1/2 a toothpick dipped into gel color).
- Working quickly, pour sugar mixture over popcorn and stir until the popcorn is evenly coated. Spread popcorn over 2 large baking sheets lined with parchment paper to dry.
- Sprinkle with a fine grind Pink Himalayan salt. (Taste for your favorite ratio of salty sweet!)
- Once popcorn is completely dry, store your treat in airtight bags or containers.
