With a simple wasabi cream cheese spread, this simple canapé is wonderful for sharing and snacking.

Yield 24 crackers

Number Of Ingredients 5

24 Dare Grainsfirst Crackers
1/2 cup (125 mL) spreadable plain cream cheese
1 tsp (5 mL) wasabi paste
24 slices cucumber
1 ripe avocado, halved, pitted, peeled, and cut into 24 slices

Steps:

  • Mix cream cheese with wasabi
  • Spread on cracker
  • Top with cucumber and avocado

6 sheets nori
3 cups sushi rice
1 small red bell pepper
4 ounces cream cheese
1 bunch fresh cilantro
salsa

Steps:

  • Cook sushi rice.
  • Slice the red bell pepper into thin strips, discarding the seeds.
  • Cut cream cheese into thin sticks, about 1 cm wide.
  • Wash cilantro, cut or tear into small pieces.
  • Roll the sushi, using 2-3 slices of red bell pepper, about 3 sticks of cream cheese, and about ¼ tsp cilantro as your fillings.
  • Serve with salsa. Enjoy!
