BEV'S SEASONED SALT
A mix of spices and salt. I prefer to use fresh garlic, onions and parsley. But if you like, you can add 1 teaspoon onion powder, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, and 1 tablespoon dried minced parsley to the mix. I also use 1 teaspoon of lemon juice for every teaspoon of seasoned salt to really bring out the flavors.

SEASONED SALT
Our family is self-reliant and likes to make things from scratch-including spices and seasonings. The kids jostle for a turn to mix up Seasoned Salt. It's a favorite sprinkled on our sliced homegrown tomatoes.

SUPER SEASONED SALT
When I started to get migraines we discovered the cause was from corn. I came up with this mixture to replace my Lawry's Seasoned Salt. It is now one of my favorite seasonings to use.

Steps:
- Mix all of the ingredients with a wire whisk and pore into your favorite shaker jar. We use this on almost everything except when I am using my garlic pepper mix. This recipe can easily be doubled or even tripled. I usually make enough to fill my shaker and I have a refill container in the cupboard so I never run out.

SPICED SALT
One preparation that French country cooks use to great advantage is spiced and seasoned salt. While salt and pepper shakers do appear on French dinner tables, they are rarely used. Gallic cooks can be deeply offended by guests who season their food at the table. They believe in seasoning it correctly in the kitchen, during the cooking. From the book "The French Farmhouse Kitchen" by Eileen Reece. The following age - old recipe comes from a farm in Vendée.

- Cut the nutmeg into chips with a sharp knife, mix with the cloves, peppercorns and allspice an grind to the same consistency as the salt and the bay leaves.
- Now mix in the marjoram and thyme and grind all ingredients together to the consistency of fine sand.
- Store in dark glass bottles and seal tightly. The salt will keep indefinitely in this way.
- Use one teaspoon of spiced salt for 1 pound dry ingredients or 1 quart of liquid.

HOMEMADE SEASONED SALT
Got this recipe from a sweet neighbor who was almost 100 years old. I have been making it ever since because to me, it is better than the store bought variety. This is good for use in egg dishes, cheese dishes, seafood and meat dishes. Also makes a nice gift in a decorative jar.
