1/2 tablespoon cream style horseradish (adjust to your liking)
a pinch of monkfruit (optional sugar free sweetener if using Primal Kitchen organic sugar free ketchup

Steps:

  • Mix all ingredients in a bowl. If you are unsure about the spiciness of your horseradish start with less and season to taste.
  • If using a sugar free ketchup, feel free to add a pinch or two of monkfruit sweetener if you like your cocktail sauce less tangy.

Drizzle it on a shrimp cocktail or dab it sparingly on raw seafood. A little of this assertive mixture goes a long way.

3 tablespoons prepared horseradish, store-bought or homemade
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice, plus more to taste
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon hot sauce, such as Tabasco, plus more to taste
Dash of Worcestershire sauce

Steps:

  • Mix together all the ingredients in a small bowl until well blended. Taste and add more lemon juice or hot sauce as needed. Cocktail sauce will keep in the refrigerator in a covered container for at least 2 weeks.
