1 tablespoon chopped onion
1/4 cup butter
3 cups soft bread cubes
2 cups finely chopped apples
1/4 cup finely chopped celery
2 teaspoons minced fresh parsley
3/4 teaspoon salt, divided
6 bone-in pork loin chops (1-1/2 inches thick and 7 ounces each)
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 tablespoon vegetable oil

Steps:

  • In a small skillet, saute onion in butter until tender. Remove from the heat; add the bread cubes, apples, celery, parsley and 1/4 teaspoon salt. , Cut a pocket in each chop by making a horizontal cut through the meat almost to the bone. Sprinkle inside and outside with pepper and remaining salt. Spoon stuffing loosely into pockets. , In a large skillet, brown the chops on both sides in oil. Place in an ungreased large baking pan. Cover and bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Uncover; bake 30 minutes longer or until a thermometer reads 145°. Let meat stand for 5 minutes before serving.

4 bone-in center-cut pork loin chops (3/4 inch thick and 7 ounces each)
2 tablespoons canola oil
1 cup apple cider or apple juice
2 tablespoons brown sugar, divided
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon dried rosemary, crushed
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 tablespoon cold water
2 large tart apples, sliced
1/2 cup sliced onion
2 tablespoons butter

Steps:

  • In a large skillet, brown pork chops in oil. Add the cider, 1 tablespoon brown sugar, salt, rosemary and thyme. Cover and cook for 7-8 minutes or until a thermometer reads 160°:. Combine the cornstarch and water until smooth; add to the skillet. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 1-2 minutes or until thickened., Meanwhile, in small skillet, cook the apples, onion, butter and remaining brown sugar over medium heat for 3-4 minutes or until apples are softened. Serve with pork chops.

2 slices cinnamon raisin bread, toasted, cut into cubes (about 1 cup)
1/2 cup chopped apple (1/2 medium)
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon grated orange peel
1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Dash pepper
3 tablespoons orange juice
2 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 cup apple juice
2 tablespoons butter or margarine

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350°F. With sharp knife, make pocket in each pork chop by cutting into side of chop toward bone.
  • In medium bowl, mix stuffing ingredients. Stuff each pocket with 1/4 of stuffing mixture; place chops in ungreased 13x9-inch pan. Bake uncovered 30 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, in 1-quart saucepan, mix sugar and cornstarch; stir in apple juice. Cook over medium-low heat, stirring frequently, until mixture boils and thickens. Remove from heat; stir in butter.
  • Pour glaze evenly over chops; bake uncovered 30 to 35 minutes longer or until pork is no longer pink in center.

1 tablespoon chopped onion
¼ cup butter
3 cups fresh bread crumbs
2 cups chopped apples
¼ cup chopped celery
2 teaspoons chopped fresh parsley
¼ teaspoon salt
6 (1 1/4 inch) thick pork chops
salt and pepper to taste
1 tablespoon vegetable oil

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • In a large skillet saute onion in butter or margarine until tender. Remove from heat. Add the bread crumbs, apples, celery, parsley and salt. Mix all together. Cut a large pocket in the side of each pork chop; season inside and out with salt and pepper to taste. Spoon apple mixture loosely into pockets.
  • In skillet, heat oil to medium high and brown chops on both sides. Place browned chops in an ungreased 9x13 inch baking dish. Cover with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes. Remove cover and bake for 30 minutes longer or until juices run clear.

1-1/2 cups apple juice
2 Granny Smith apples, divided
6 bone-in pork chops (3 lb.), each with pocket cut for stuffing (see Tip)
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1/3 cup plus 1 Tbsp. KRAFT Lite Raspberry Vinaigrette Dressing, divided
1 Tbsp. brown sugar
1 Tbsp. GREY POUPON Dijon Mustard

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 375ºF.
  • Prepare stuffing as directed on package, substituting apple juice for the water. Cut 1 apple into 1/2-inch chunks; stir into stuffing. Spoon into pockets in chops; sprinkle with pepper. Spoon remaining stuffing into 13x9-inch baking dish.

1/2 cup chopped apple
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/4 teaspoon grated orange peel

1/4 cup orange juice
2 tablespoons sugar
