Strawberry Sour Cream Salad Food

STRAWBERRIES WITH SOUR CREAM

Steps:

• In small bowl combine sour cream, vanilla, and maple syrup. Whisk together and pour over strawberries and serve.

STRAWBERRY AND SOUR CREAM JELLO SALAD

Steps:

• 1 sm. box strawberry jello (+ 1 cup hot water ¾ cup cold water or __ berry juice) [jell] slightly.
• Add: pkg thawed strawberries (10 oz or pt size?), cup drained crushed pineapple (#2 size or any size), couple mashed up bananas, chopped walnuts (½ cup more or less).
• Mix all together with slightly conjealed jello.
• Fill Tupperware with about ⅓ or (less than ½). Refrigerate - till get hard.
• When mixture hardens - spread sour cream (about 1 pt.) on top of jello.
• Pour rest of jello on top of sour cream & refrigerate.
• Best to do night before - so sets well.
• When unmold - fill ____ with sour cream.

STRAWBERRIES WITH SWEETENED SOUR CREAM

Steps:

• In a small bowl, whisk together sour cream and sugar. If desired, sprinkle more sugar on top as a garnish. Serve with fresh strawberries, rinsed and patted dry.

STRAWBERRY 'N CREAM SALAD RECIPE

Steps:

• Empty Jello into large bowl and dissolve in boiling water. Add partly thawed strawberries and bananas. Refrigerate until almost firm. Pour 1/2 of mixture into dish or casserole and spread layer of sour cream over mixture. Pour remaining Jello mixture over sour cream. Refrigerate until ready to serve. If desired, sprinkle nuts just before serving.

MOLDED STRAWBERRY SALAD

Steps:

• In a large bowl, dissolve gelatin in water. Add strawberries and pineapple. Strain, reserving liquid and fruit. Set aside 1 cup of the liquid at room temperature. , Pour fruit and remaining liquid into a 5-cup ring mold or 9-in. square pan that has been coated with cooking spray. Cover and refrigerate until set, about 1 hour. , Whisk sour cream and reserved liquid; pour over top of gelatin. Cover and refrigerate until set. , Slice and place on individual plates, or unmold onto a serving platter. Garnish with lettuce and strawberries if desired.

STRAWBERRY SUMMER SALAD

Steps:

• Make a dressing by whisking together the mayonnaise, sugar, and vinegar in a small bowl. Stir in the poppy seeds; set aside.
• Toss together the lettuce, spinach, and onion in a large bowl. Drizzle the dressing over the salad and toss to coat. Add the strawberries and lightly toss again. Serve immediately.

STRAWBERRY MOLD

Steps:

• Dissolve the gelatin the boiling water.
• Add the remaining ingredients except the sour cream.
• Pour half of the mixture in a salad mold; let chill until firm.
• Cover with a layer of sour cream, then top with the remaining half of the mixture. Refrigerate until firm.
• Garnish with fresh strawberry and pineapple.

STRAWBERRY SOUR CREAM SALAD

Steps:

• Dissolve Jello with boiling water and strawberry juice.
• Add Strawberries and mix well.
• Add smashed Bananas and drained Pineapple.
• Pour half of the mixture into a large oblong dish (8 x 12 or 9 x 13) and set in refrigerator for about 30-60 mins (est.).
• Spread sour cream evenly over top of congealed jello.
• Add remaining jello mixture and chill until well set (several hours or set overnight for best results).

STRAWBERRY CREAM SALAD

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
• In a large bowl, beat egg whites until foamy. Add cream of tartar and sugar and beat on medium speed until stiff. Fold in cracker pieces, walnuts and vanilla. Spread into the bottom of a 9x13 inch pan. Bake in preheated of for 25 minutes, remove from oven and set aside to cool.
• In a medium bowl, mix together the cream cheese and 1/2 cup sugar. Fold in whipped topping and spread atop cooled crust.
• In a medium bowl, whisk the boiling water into the gelatin to dissolve. Mix in strawberries and let stand for 15 minutes. Pour over the cream cheese layer, cover and chill until serving.

STRAWBERRY JELLO SALAD

Steps:

• Using a strainer placed over a bowl, drain the strawberries and pineapple, reserving 2 cups of the fruit juice.
• Dissolve jello in boiling water.
• Add 2 cups reserved fruit juice. (If you do not have enough juice from the fruit, add cold water).
• Add the sliced bananas, drained strawberries, and drained crushed pineapple. (IF you are not using the sour cream, mix in walnuts, then pour entire batch into 9x13 dish and skip to final step).
• Pour half the jello mixture into a 9x13 dish.
• Refrigerate until set. Do not refrigerate the remaining jello mixture in the bowl-otherwise it will begin to set.
• Spread set layer with the sour cream and sprinkle with walnuts (if using). Pour remaining jello mixture over sour cream layer.
• Refrigerate several hours. This sets up best overnight.

SPECIAL STRAWBERRY SALAD

Steps:

• Dissolve unflavored gelatin in cold water. In a medium saucepan over low heat, heat cream and sugar until sugar dissolves. Stir in gelatin mixture until dissolved. Remove from the heat; stir in sour cream and vanilla. Pour into a 2-qt. glass bowl; chill until firm. Dissolve strawberry gelatin in boiling water. Drain orange liquid into strawberry gelatin; blend well. Gently stir in strawberries until thawed. Pour over cream layer; arrange oranges on top (allow to settle) and chill until firm.
