Depending on how you slice your strawberries you can have a more syrupy dressing or a chunky sauce!

1 lb strawberries, diced or halved
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 tbsp. freshly squeezed lemon juice
1/2 tsp. balsamic vinegar
1/4 tsp. vanilla
Salt
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup heavy whipping cream (milk also works)
1 tbsp. freshly squeezed lemon juice
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
Salt
1 egg, room temperature
1/4 tsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. butter, melted
1/4 cup of the strawberry sauce listed above
Homemade or store-bought whipped cream for topping

Steps:

  • Combine the strawberries, sugar, lemon juice, balsamic vinegar, and salt in a large saucepan over medium heat. Mixing frequently, cook until the strawberries breakdown and resemble a thickened sauce (about 5-8 minutes.) Remove from heat, stir in vanilla, and set aside.
  • Combine the 1 cup cream and lemon juice together. Set aside to combine.
  • In a medium mixing bowl, add the flour ,salt, baking soda, and baking powder. Whisk to combine.
  • Once the cream and lemon juice have time to react, whisk in the egg, melted butter, and vanilla until combined.
  • Pour the wet mixture into the dry mixture. Stir in the 1/4 cup strawberry sauce and mix until just combined. I usually give the batter a quick taste to see if it needs more seasoning.
  • Heat a large frying pan over medium-low heat. Add in some butter or coconut oil (I prefer the coconut oil) and allow it to melt. Once the pan is nice and hot, add 1/4 cup portions of batter to the pan. Cook until the underneath side is nice and golden. Flip, and do the same for the remaining side. Cook until no batter remains.
  • Stack the pancakes and pour some strawberry sauce over top. Finish off with the whipped cream!

1/2 cup Land O Lakes® Butter with Canola Oil
1/2 cup chopped fresh strawberries
2 tablespoons strawberry jam
Pancakes
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder

1/4 teaspoon salt
4 ounces (1/2 cup) cream cheese, softened
1 large Land O Lakes® Egg
1 cup buttermilk *
3 tablespoons Land O Lakes® Butter melted
2 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon red jimmies sprinkles
Powdered sugar, as desired

Steps:

  • Combine all strawberry butter ingredients in medium bowl. Using potato masher, mash until well combined. Cover; refrigerate until serving.
  • Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt in medium bowl. Set aside.
  • Beat cream cheese and egg in large bowl until well combined. Stir in buttermilk, melted butter and sugar until combined. Add flour mixture, stirring just until combined. Add sprinkles; stir just until combined. Do not over mix. Batter will be thick and lumpy.
  • Heat lightly greased griddle to 350°F or until drops of water sizzle on surface.
  • Pour batter into squeeze bottle. Squeeze batter into heart shapes onto griddle, using about 1/4 cup batter per pancake. Cook 2-3 minutes or until bubbles form on surface. Turn; continue cooking 1-2 minutes or until light brown.
  • Serve warm with strawberry butter and powdered sugar.

3 cups sliced strawberries
1/4 cup sugar
2 cups Original Bisquick™ mix
1 cup milk
2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups whipping (heavy) cream, whipped

Steps:

  • Mix strawberries and 1/4 cup sugar; set aside. Heat griddle or skillet over medium-high heat or electric griddle to 375°F; grease with cooking spray, vegetable oil or shortening. (Surface is ready when a few drops of water sprinkled on it dance and disappear.)
  • Stir Bisquick, milk, 2 tablespoons sugar, the vanilla and eggs until blended. Pour by slightly less than 1/4 cupfuls onto hot griddle.

1 cup packed light brown sugar
Small pinch of salt
2 cups all-purpose flour
3 tablespoons granulated sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
2 cups well-shaken buttermilk
2 large eggs
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted and cooled, plus more for greasing
Vegetable oil, for greasing
1 cup sliced strawberries

Steps:

  • Make the syrup: Add 3/4 cup water, the brown sugar and salt to a medium saucepan over medium heat. Bring the mixture to a simmer and stir until the sugar dissolves. Let simmer for 25 to 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Let cool before serving.
  • Make the pancakes: Preheat the oven to 200 degrees F. Whisk the flour, granulated sugar, salt, baking powder and baking soda in a large bowl. Add the buttermilk, eggs and cooled melted butter to a second bowl and whisk to combine.
  • Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and add the wet mixture. Stir with a rubber spatula until just combined. Do not over mix or you'll end up with tough and chewy pancakes!
  • Heat a large electric griddle or nonstick frying pan over medium heat. Add a few drops of vegetable oil and a pat of butter. Once the butter melts, wipe the skillet with a paper towel. Ladle about 1/4 cup batter onto the griddle for each pancake. Place a small handful of sliced strawberries on top of the pancakes. Cook until the bubbles begin to burst on the surface, about 3 minutes, then flip and cook until the second side is a nice golden brown, about 2 more minutes. Repeat with the remaining batter; put the finished pancakes on a sheet tray and keep warm in the oven as you finish.
  • Arrange the pancakes on individual plates and serve with the syrup.

2 cups fresh (or frozen) strawberries
1 Tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
a few strawberries, sliced, for garnish

Steps:

  • Place chilled heavy cream in a large mixing bowl, or the bowl of a stand mixer.
  • Beat until light and fluffy, being careful not to overheat.
  • Set aside or chill until ready to use. (You might need to whisk it or beat it again for a few seconds if you don't use it right away and it separates.)
  • Place strawberries in a medium bowl.
  • Sprinkle with sugar and add vanilla extract.
  • Mash the strawberries, leaving some larger pieces.
  • Let stand for a few minutes.
  • Add about half of the mashed strawberries to the whipped cream, folding with a large silicone spatula.
  • Reserve the remaining strawberries to use when serving.
  • Spoon some of the cream into four serving glasses or dishes, top with some of the remaining mashed strawberries, and another spoonful or two of the cream and a few sliced strawberries.
  • Serve immediately, or place in fridge to chill until ready to serve.

1 lb fresh strawberries
juice of 1 lemon
2 tbs sugar
2 cups unbleached, all purpose flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 tbsp sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups milk
6 oz cream cheese, softened

Steps:

  • Place the strawberries in a medium sized pan with lemon juice and sugar. Cook over medium low heat until strawberries cook down and thicken, about 20 minutes. Mash them with the back of a spoon or potato masher for a smoother sauce. Set aside and keep warm.
  • Combine flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs and milk. Add the cream cheese in, breaking into pieces. Using a hand mixer, gently blend in the cream cheese. You will have some small chunks of cheese that don't get blended, that is good.
  • Add the wet mixture to the dry mixture and gently stir just until combined.
  • Preheat a griddle or nonstick pan. Place batter by the 1/4 cup full in the hot pan. Once the edges are dry and there are bubbles in the top of the pancakes, flip them over. Cook 1-2 minutes more.
  • Serve warm topped with strawberry sauce.

  • Mix all of the dry ingredients together in a large bowl
  • Now add the milk, butter, vanilla extract and slightly beaten eggs to the dry mixture
  • Once all mixed heat a little bit of butter in your frying pan if it is not non-stick and start pouring in the batter to make a neat medium sized circle. Fry 1 minute on each side, or until the pancake is golden brown. Repeat this process until all of the mix is used up.
  • Add the strawberries to the pancakes while on your plate and scoop the mascarpone
  • cheese on top!
  • If you like to over indulge, add on some golden syrup as well!! SUGAR OVERLOAD!!!

3 cups (750 mL) sliced strawberries
1/4 cup (50 mL) sugar
2 cups (500 mL) Bisquick* mix
1 cup (250 mL) milk
2 tbsp (25 mL) sugar
1 tsp (5 mL) vanilla
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups (375 mL) whipping (heavy) cream, whipped

Steps:

  • Mix strawberries and 1/4 cup sugar; set aside. Heat griddle or skillet over medium-high heat or electric griddle to 375ºF; grease with cooking spray, vegetable oil or shortening. (Surface is ready when a few drops of water sprinkled on it dance and disappear.)
  • Stir Bisquick, milk, 2 tablespoons sugar, the vanilla and eggs until blended. Pour by slightly less than 1/4 cupfuls onto hot griddle.
  • Cook until edges are dry. Turn; cook until golden. To serve, layer pancakes, strawberries and cream. Makes 12 pancakes.
