Spicy Hot Dog Stew Food

SPICY HOT DOG STEW

Steps:

• Heat oil in Dutch oven or small stockpot. Add potatoes, carrots, peppers and half each of the onions and garlic; cook 5 min., stirring constantly.
• Meanwhile, blend tomatoes, broth, chile, oregano, and remaining onions and garlic in blender until smooth.
• Add vegetable puree to potato mixture; stir. Bring to boil; cover. Simmer on medium-low heat 15 min., stirring occasionally. Add wieners; cook, covered, 5 min. or until heated through. Serve with tortillas.

HOT DOG STEW

Steps:

• In a large nonstick saucepan, brown hot dogs over medium heat. Add the next seven ingredients. Cover and cook over low heat until heated through. Stir in milk; heat through.

Steps:

• Brown hot dogs in butter with thyme.
• Add soups.
• Gradually stir in the water.
• Then add tomatoes, and corn and heat until warm.
• Serve.

HOT DOG STEW

Steps:

• Put everything except hot sauce into large pot, cover with water and cook until done.
• May add tomato juice if desired instead of some of the water (I usually do).
• Add hot sauce during the last 15 minutes of cooking.

SPICY BACON HOT DOG

Steps:

• Pan-Fried Hot Dog
• Cook in a hot cast-iron skillet with a little oil, butter or bacon fat, about 5 minutes.
• Bacon and Onions
• Cook 4 chopped bacon slices in a skillet over medium-high heat until the fat has rendered, about 5 minutes. Add 1/2 thinly sliced onion; cook, stirring, until translucent, about 3 minutes. Stir in 1 tablespoon each soy sauce and lime juice and 1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce.
• Mayonnaise
• Spicy Chips
• Spread 1 cup lightly crushed tortilla chips on a baking sheet and spray with cooking spray. Sprinkle with 1 tablespoon chili-lime powder (such as Tajen brand) and toss to coat. Bake at 350 degrees F until lightly toasted, 4 to 5 minutes. Let cool.
• Ketchup
• Yellow Mustard

HOT DOG SAUCE

Steps:

• Brown beef and onion in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Drain fat; cool mixture slightly. Place in food processor; pulse until mixture is finely crumbled, about 5 or 6 pulses. Return meat to skillet; stir in garlic. Cook for 3 minutes.
• Pour the ketchup and barbeque sauce into the skillet. Stir in the chili powder, mustard, pepper, salt, cumin, Worcestershire sauce, red pepper flakes, and water. Cook, uncovered, until most of the liquid has evaporated, about 10 minutes. Season sauce with additional salt, if necessary.

HEAVENLY HOT DOG SAUCE

Steps:

• Crumble ground beef into a Dutch oven over medium heat. Stir in water, and mash ground beef thoroughly with a potato masher. Stir in tomato sauce, ketchup, salt, pepper, sugar, and chili powder; bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low; simmer, 60 to 90 minutes, until the sauce reaches a medium consistency that is not too soupy.
