This is what I use instead of seasoned salt lately and I use it on just about everything that needs salt.

SOUP STARTER/ALL SEASON BLEND (FROM THE UNCHEESE COOKBOOK)
An excellent all-purpose seasoning for sauces, gravies, and even instant soup broth. Nutritional yeast is high in B12, a nutrient often lacking in vegetarian and/or North American diets. (This soup mix is the nearest thing to chicken soup base I've ever tasted!)

Steps:
- Place all ingredients in a blender or food processor, and process until finely ground. Store in a covered container at room temperature.
- For broth, combine 1.5 teaspoons All-Season Blend and 1 cup water in a small sauce pan. Bring to a boil, simmer for one minute and serve. (Recipe can be easily doubled, tripled, etc).".

CHEEZ-A-RONI (FROM THE UNCHEESE COOKBOOK)
This recipe is from the Uncheese Cookbook by Jo Stepaniak. It requires one recipe of Gee Whiz Spread -- from the same cookbook and posted here by Sharon123 as recipe #326682. Top it with some breadcrumbs and bake for a little extra pizazz!

Steps:
- Heat oil in a large saucepace and carmelize the onions (can take 20-30 minutes). Add garlic and cook for 1 more minute.
- Add 2 cups of the Geez Whiz spread, the undrained can of tomatoes, nutrional yeast, salt, pepper and cayenne.
- Meanwhile prepare the pasta according to package directions. When cooked, drain it and pour the sauce over it.
- Enjoy!
