6 medium new potatoes, cut into eights
10 3/4 ounces condensed cream of mushroom soup
4 ounces mushroom stems and pieces, drained
2 tablespoons dry white wine
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
3 tablespoons Gold Medal all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon diced pimento
10 ounces frozen green peas, rinsed and drained

Steps:

  • Spray 10 inch nonstick skillet with cooking spray; heat over medium-high heat. Cook pork in skillet, turning once, until brown.
  • Place potatoes in 3 1/2 to 6 quart slow cooker.
  • Mix soup, mushooms, wine, thyme, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce and flour; spoon half of soup mixture over potatoes.
  • Place pork on potatoes, cover with remaining soup mixture.
  • Cover and cook on Low heat setting 6 to 7 hours or until pork is tender.
  • Remove pork; keep warm. Stir pimientos and peas into slow cooker.
  • Cover and cook on LOW heat setting about 15 minutes or until peas are tender.

3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/4 cup whole-grain mustard
2 tablespoons honey
1 small shallot
1 large Pink Lady or Fuji apple
Cooked grits or buttered rice, for serving, optional

Steps:

  • Lay the pork chops on a rimmed baking sheet and sprinkle both sides of each chop with salt and pepper. Put the flour on a small plate. Coat both sides of the chops with the flour and put back on the baking sheet to come to room temperature while you prepare the remaining ingredients.

10 center-cut boneless pork chops, trimmed
1 (10.75 ounce) can cream of onion soup
1 (10.75 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
5 fluid ounces water
1 (1 ounce) package ranch dressing mix
1 (1 ounce) package dry onion soup mix
salt and ground black pepper to taste

Steps:

  • Spread about half the onion slices into the bottom of the slow cooker. Arrange 5 pork chops atop the onion layer. Repeat layering with remaining onion and pork chops.
  • Pour cream of onion soup, cream of mushroom soup, and water over the pork chops and onion. Sprinkle ranch dressing mix and onion soup mix over the pork chops; season with salt and pepper.
