Slow Cooker Minced Beef And Onions Food

SLOW COOKER MINCED BEEF AND ONIONS....

Steps:

• Add the minced beef to the slow cooker along with the onion and the carrot if you're using it.
• Crumble the stock cubes over the top.
• Pour over enough boiling water to cover the mix. The more water you add at this point, the more gravy you'll end up with at the end so it's up to you really.
• Give it a good stir, put the lid on and cook for 5-6 hours.
• Just before you serve it, sprinkle in enough gravy granules to thicken the gravy to how you like it.

SLOW COOKER BEEF WITH CARAMELIZED ONIONS

Steps:

• Stir together onions, garlic, sugar, thyme, salt, and black pepper in bottom of a large slow cooker.
• If necessary, cut beef to fit into slow cooker.
• Pat beef dry with clean paper towels and place on top of onions.
• Mix vinegar and broth together and pour over onions and beef.
• Cover and cook on low for 8 hours.
• Slice beef across the grain.
• Spoon onions atop sliced beef.

SLOW COOKED SWEET ONION AND GARLIC BEEF ROAST

Steps:

• Place meat in bottom of slow cooker.
• Top meat with sliced onions and minced garlic.
• Mix all remaining ingredients together in a small bowl and pour into the slow cooker.
• Cover and cook on low for about 8 hours or until done.

SLOW COOKED BEEF IN ONION SAUCE (CROCK POT)

Steps:

• Trim off any excess fat from the meat. Mix salt, pepper, paprika and oregano. Rub this mixture into the meat, on all surfaces.
• Put onions, garlic, tomato paste and about one-half of the liquid into the crock pot, or slow cooker and mix well. Add the remaining liquid and stir.
• Nestle the meat down into the liquid, cover and cook on the low setting 8-9 hours, or until the meat is tender. Note: begin checking the roast for doneness at about 6 hours.
• Taste for seasoning and make any adjustments. Serve with noodles, rice, or potatoes.
