HEARTY GREEN CHILI STEW

Hearty Green Chili Stew image

SLOW COOKER GREEN CHILE STEW

Slow Cooker Green Chile Stew image

After much trial and error, the best way I've found to make Green Chile Stew! Easy to put together and delicious to eat. I think the yams and corn give it a little something extra, plus it's a great way to get more veggies in. All in all a very hearty meal. I like to serve with quartered tortillas for dipping!

SLOW-COOKER GREEN CHICKEN CHILI

Slow-Cooker Green Chicken Chili image

This easy, slow-cooked chili is not your average "bowl of red." With chicken, sweet potatoes, tomatillo salsa, and pinto beans, it's more of a cross between chile verde (usually made with pork) and white chicken chili. Just a few ingredients and effortless prep gives you a flavorful and satisfying "bowl of green."

LEFTOVER STEAK GREEN CHILI BURROS SLOW COOKER

Leftover Steak Green Chili Burros Slow Cooker image

I've been making this for years, by adding a bit of this, a smidge of that. Today, I actually wrote all the ingrendents down. Any leftover meat can be used. The burros I made this evening were from leftover grilled beef steak and a marinated pork tenderloin. The taste of the orange marinade on the pork didn't come through at all, so no need to worry about mixing meats. If you are using leftover roast, you won't need to cook in the crockpot. If the chili isn't spicy enough for you, just add a pinch of cayenne while cooking.
