SHREDDIES SNACK MIX AND BBQ SPICE RUB (2 FOR 1)

Steps:

• Directions for BBQ Spice Rub: Combine Spice Rub BBQ ingredients in a jar with a lid. Makes 2/3 cup spice rub mix.
• Directions for Shreddies Snack Mix: Combine Shreddies, crackers, and peanuts in large bowl.
• Melt butter; stir in oil, and BBQ Spice Rub; drizzle over cereal mixture and mix. Spread evenly on parchment paper lined baking sheet.
• Bake at 250 degrees F for 30 min., stirring every 10 min. Cool.

BBQ SPICE RUB

Steps:

• Mix brown sugar, paprika, black pepper, salt, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper in a bowl. Store in an air-tight container or keep in the freezer in a sealable plastic bag.

SHREDDIES GINGERBREAD SNACK MIX

Steps:

• 1. Preheat the oven to 250°F Arrange the pecans and almonds in an even layer on a rimmed baking sheet. Bake for 15 minutes or until golden and fragrant; cool slightly.
• 2. Combine the nuts with the Shreddies, pretzels and pumpkin seeds in a large bowl. Stir the melted butter with the sugar, ginger, cinnamon, salt and cloves until combined; drizzle over the cereal mixture. Toss thoroughly to coat the pieces evenly.
• 3. Spread mixture on two, large, rimmed baking sheets. Bake, rotating pans once, for 10 to 12 minutes or until crisp and fragrant; cool completely. Stir in the cranberries and white chocolate chips (if using); transfer to an airtight container. Reserve at room temperature for up to 1 week.
• Makes 12 cups (3 L).

SHREDDIES "ITALIAN" SNACK MIX

Steps:

• In a large microwave bowl combine cereal, pretzels and peanuts.
• In a small bowl mix margarine, cheese, seasoning & garlic powder; drizzle on cereal mix. Toss to coat.
• Microwave on High 2-3 minutes or until cereal is crisp (stir half way thorugh cook time).
• Cool and store in an airtight container; enjoy!
