1 package (8 ounces) breakfast sausage links
1 unbaked pie pastry (9 inches)
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
4 large eggs
1 pint heavy whipping cream
1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

Steps:

  • In a skillet, brown sausages until no longer pink. Drain and cut into small pieces; place in the pie shell. Sprinkle with cheese. In a bowl, beat eggs; add cream and nutmeg. Pour over cheese. , Bake at 350° for 55-60 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.

1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust
3/4 cup baby spinach
1/2 cup fresh parsley leaves, chopped (about 1/2 bunch)
2 fresh sage leaves
1 sprig fresh mint, leaves only
1 sprig fresh marjoram, leaves only
Kosher salt
6 large eggs
3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
1 1/2 cups grated Monterey Jack cheese
1/2 cup crumbled cooked Italian sausage

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
  • Line the pie crust with parchment paper, fill with baking beans or pie weights and bake for 15 minutes. Carefully remove the baking beans and parchment and continue to bake until golden brown, 10 to 13 minutes more. Allow to cool to room temperature before filling.
  • Lower the oven temperature to 350 degrees F.
  • Meanwhile, in a mortar and pestle or food processor, grind the spinach, parsley, sage, mint and marjoram with 1 teaspoon salt until a very coarse paste forms. If it doesn't form into a paste, add 1 tablespoon water.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, melted butter and herb paste until combined. Stir in 1 cup of the cheese.
  • Line the pie crust with the sausage, pour in the egg mixture and top with the remaining 1/2 cup cheese. Bake until the center is set and the top is dark golden, 45 to 55 minutes. Cool at room temperature for 1 hour before serving.

1 cup onion, chopped

1 red pepper, diced

4 teaspoons parsley flakes

Steps:

  • Prebake crust 8-10 minutes. Brown and drain sausage and saute onions, pepper, mushrooms and spinach. Divide into 2 shells. Sprinkle 1 1/2 cups cheese into each pie shell.
  • Beat eggs, milk, cream, and parsley together and pour over sausage mixture.
  • Bake 35-40 minutes at 375 degrees.

Dough for single-crust pie
1 pound bulk Italian sausage
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup chopped green pepper
4 teaspoons chopped seeded jalapeno pepper
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
3 large eggs, room temperature
1 cup heavy whipping cream
1 teaspoon minced fresh parsley
1 teaspoon minced fresh basil
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/8 teaspoon salt
Dash garlic powder
Dash cayenne pepper

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 425°. On a lightly floured surface, roll dough to a 1/8-in. thick circle; transfer to a 9-in. pie plate. Trim crust to 1/2 in. beyond edge of plate; flute edge. Line unpricked crust with a double thickness of foil. Fill with pie weights, dried beans or uncooked rice. Bake on a lower oven rack until edge is light golden brown, 15-20 minutes. Remove foil and weights; bake until bottom is golden brown, 3-6 minutes longer. Cool on a wire rack. Reduce oven setting to 375°., Meanwhile, in a large skillet, cook sausage, onion, green pepper and jalapeno over medium heat until sausage is no longer pink and vegetables are tender, breaking up sausage into crumbles; drain. 1 tablespoon olive oil
2 stalks celery, finely diced
1 onion, finely diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 pound bulk plain pork sausage
½ tablespoon dried sage
1 (8 ounce) container cottage cheese
8 eggs
½ cup milk
1 teaspoon dried tarragon
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
1 (8 ounce) package shredded Cheddar-Monterey Jack cheese blend

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  • Unroll each crust into two 9-inch pie pans.
  • Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook celery, onion, and garlic in the hot oil for 1 to 2 minutes. Add sausage, breaking apart to brown; sprinkle in sage and continue browning until no longer pink, 5 to 7 minutes. Remove from heat. Add cottage cheese and mix well.

1 medium onion, chopped (optional)
1 unbaked prepared 9 inch pie shell
1/2 cup shredded swiss cheese
4 eggs
1 cup half-and-half
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 425°F
  • Cook and crumble sausage and onion until sausage is browned.
  • Cover bottom of pie crust with mixture and top with cheese.
  • In medium mixing bowl. Beat eggs and add half and half, salt and pepper.
  • Pour over sausage mixture.
  • Bake 15 minutes. Reduce oven to 350 F and continue cooking for 20 minutes or until set. Let stand 5 minutes then cut into wedges.

24 ounces hash brown potatoes, thawed and squeezed dry
1/2 cup butter, melted
8 ounces sausage (cooked, drained and crumbled)
1 cup cheddar cheese, grated
1 cup mozzarella cheese, grated
6 large eggs
3/4 cup half-and-half cream
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  • Lightly grease a square pyrex dish.
  • Mix 1/4 cup of the melted butter and with potatoes.
  • Firmly press potatoes into buttered pyrex dish to form crust.
  • Pour remaining butter evenly over crust.
  • Bake 30-35 minutes, or until lightly browned.
  • REDUCE temperature to 350 degrees.
  • Remove dish from oven and sprinkle sausage & cheeses evenly over potatoes.

1 1/4 cups Bisquick baking mix
1/4 cup butter, softened
2 tablespoons boiling water
1 cup shredded Italian cheese
1 cup cooked sausage
2 tablespoons parsley
7/8 cup milk
1 1/2 tablespoons butter
3 eggs
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 400 degrees. Spray 9 inch pie plate with nonstick cooking spray.
  • To make the crust, stir Bisquick and butter until blended. Add boiling water and stir quickly until soft dough forms. Press the dough into the pie plate bottom and up the sides.
  • Sprinkle the cheese, sausage and parsley over the crust.
  • Mix together the milk, butter, eggs and onion powder. Add the basil. Pour into the crust.
