ONE SHEET PAN HONEY MUSTARD SALMON WITH GREEN BEANS

One Sheet Pan Honey Mustard Salmon with Green Beans image

A quick and easy weeknight dinner recipe for honey mustard salmon and green beans all baked on one sheet pan! You know what that means -- easier clean-up!

Provided by Little Spice Jar

Time 30m

Number Of Ingredients 8

4-5 (6 oz) salmon filets
salt and pepper
1 tablespoon olive oil
3 tablespoons EACH: dijon mustard AND honey
2 tablespoons brown sugar
½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
2 teaspoon minced garlic
12 ounces green beans, cleaned and trimmed

Steps:

  • Position a rack in the center of the oven and preheat the oven to 400ºF. Line a baking sheet with foil, spray with cooking spray, set aside.
  • In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, dijon, honey, browns sugar, red pepper flakes, and minced garlic.
  • Drizzle 2 tablespoons of the honey mustard sauce on one side of the baking sheet. Spread using the back of a spoon or a brush, on just ½ the baking sheet. Place the salmon filets on top and drizzle ⅔'s of the remaining sauce on the salmon. Use a brush (or the back of a spoon to spread). Allow the salmon to marinate for 10-15 minutes minutes or up to 30 minutes. Save the remaining honey mustard sauce for the next step. Just before baking, place the green beans in the bowl that contains the honey mustard sauce. Using a large spoon, toss the green beans so they are evenly coated with the sauce. Arrange the beans on the opposite side of the salmon.
  • Allow the salmon to bake for 14-18 minutes or until cooked through. Mine took exactly 14 minutes and I let it broil for an extra 1-2 minutes. Baking time will vary depending on the thickness of the filet. If yours is super thick, you may need a little extra time than whats suggested. Serve warm with brown rice or quinoa on the side.

1 1/4 cups of water + 1 tablespoon kosher salt
1 pound green beans, rinsed and ends trimmed
1 tablespoon dijon mustard
1 tablespoon whole grain mustard
1 tablespoon honey
2 teaspoons extra virgin olive oil
2 tablespoons fresh squeezed lemon juice

  • In a large bowl whisk together the ingredients for the honey mustard sauce. Place the salmon fillets on the baking sheet and brush or rub them with some of the honey mustard sauce. Add the green beans to the bowl with the remaining honey mustard sauce and toss together until coated. Spread the green beans out on the baking sheet in a single layer.
  • Bake for 5 minutes then remove from the oven and stir the green beans around. Place the sheet pan back in the oven and bake for another 5-8 minutes or until the salmon is flaky and reads 125° F. on a thermometer and the green beans have slightly caramelized. Serve immediately.

EASY HONEY MUSTARD SALMON RECIPE (TWO WAYS)

Easy Honey Mustard Salmon Recipe (Two Ways) image

This honey mustard salmon recipe features perfectly flaky salmon fillet covered in a quick honey mustard sauce with fresh garlic, smoked paprika, and a pinch of cayenne. Slightly sweet, smokey and all sorts of delicious! You can bake this salmon in the oven or cook it on your grill (instructions for both provided below)

Provided by Suzy Karadsheh

Categories     Main Course

Number Of Ingredients 12

2 lb salmon fillet
Kosher salt
1/2 tsp Extra virgin olive oil
Lime wedges to serve
Parsley garnish
4 tablespoons whole grain mustard
2 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
4 garlic cloves (minced)
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
½ tsp cayenne (optional)
½ tsp black pepper

Steps:

  • To cook in the oven, heat the oven to 375 degrees F and position a rack in the middle. To grill, heat a gas grill to medium high (about 400 degrees F).
  • Pat the salmon fillet dry. Season with salt on both sides.
  • Prepare the honey mustard sauce. In a small bowl, whisk together the honey mustard sauce ingredients (whole grain mustard, honey, extra virgin olive oil, minced garlic, smoked paprika, cayenne and black pepper).
  • To Bake. Place the salmon on a lightly oiled sheet pan or baking dish (if using salmon with skin on, place the salmon skin side down in the dish). Spread the honey mustard sauce evenly over the surface of the salmon. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 15 to 20 minutes. Uncover and place under the broiler for 2 to 3 minutes.
  • To grill. Place the salmon (already seasoned with salt) on a large, lightly oiled piece of aluminum foil. Spread the honey mustard sauce on top of the salmon. Fold both sides of the foil over the salmon and tightly close it at the top. Place on a medium-high gas grill. Cover and let cook for about 10 to 12 minutes (grill time will vary depending on the thickness of your salmon, begin to check earlier in the process). Open the top of the foil up so the fish is exposed (lots of hot steam with be released, so be careful). Continue cooking about 3 minutes or so on the grill.
  • To serve. Remove from the heat. Squeeze a bit of fresh lime juice and garnish with parsley. Enjoy!

SIZZLING SALMON WITH BEAN MASH

Sizzling salmon with bean mash image

Sara Buenfeld creates a stylish main course in minutes that's smart enough for casual entertaining.

Provided by Sara Buenfeld

Categories     Dinner, Lunch, Supper

Time 15m

Number Of Ingredients 9

4 skinless salmon fillets , about 175g/6oz
1 lime
3 tbsp clear honey
1 tbsp wholegrain mustard
3 x 410g cans butter beans , rinsed
25g butter
5 tbsp crème fraîche
1 garlic clove , crushed
100g bag rocket

Steps:

  • Set the grill to its highest setting. Put the salmon fillets flesh-side up and evenly spaced in a shallow flameproof dish. Finely grate the zest of the lime into a bowl, then squeeze in the juice and stir in the honey, mustard and a good sprinkling of salt. Pour the mixture over the salmon and grill, without turning, for 5-6 minutes until it's golden on top and cooked through (check the centre with a fork).
  • Meanwhile, tip the beans into a saucepan and add the butter, crème fraîche, garlic and plenty of salt and pepper. Turn the heat on to moderate and coarsely mash everything together - a wooden spoon or a masher will do the job - until hot and bubbling. This only takes a few minutes as the beans are already cooked.Tip in the rocket and stir into the mash until it's hot and just wilted.
  • Serve the salmon on the mash, drizzled with the cooking juices.
