63 miniature pretzels
1 pkg (13 oz) rolo candies
63 pecan halves

Steps:

  • 1. Line a baking sheet with foil. Place pretzels on foil; top each pretzel with a candy.
  • 2. Bake at 250* for 4 minutes or until candies are softened. Immediately place a pecan half on each candy and press down so candy fills pretzel. Cool slightly. Refrigerate for 10 minutes or until set.

My niece made these for our 4th of July party and they were gone before dessert was even served! Everyone loved them and kept going back for one more of "those pretzel things"! So easy to make- a definite for my Christmas cookie baskets.

50 small pretzel twists
50 pieces rollo candies
50 pieces whole pecans or 50 pieces walnuts

Steps:

  • Place pretzel pieces on a baking sheet.
  • Top with one Rollo candy.
  • Place in a warm (250 degrees) oven to just let the Rollo candy melt on top of the pretzel to hold it in place.
  • Remove from oven and place a pecan piece on top.
  • Let cool and harden.

1 small pkg mini pretzels -- squares work best
13 oz bag Rolo candies
1 small pkg pecan halves

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 250 degrees. Cover cookie sheet with aluminum foil & place pretzels individually to form 1 layer.
  • 2. Place 1 unwrapped Rolo candy on top of each pretzel. Bake at 250 degrees for 4 minutes. Immediately remove from oven & quickly place a pecan half on top of candy. Press down to "squish" the chocolate into the pretzel & flatten out.
  • 3. Cool 15-20 minutes, then refrigerate until chocolate is firm, usually 20-30 minutes.

Using an electric mixer, mix on high speed for about 1 minute or until combined, light, and frothy. Slowly add in the melted caramel mixture, then stir in the pecans by hand. The mixture will be very thin.
  • Pour the mixture into the prepared pie shell and bake for 40-50 minutes or until golden on top, but the pie still jiggles when you bump it. Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely. Serve cold or at room temperature with a dollop of sweetened whip cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream and, if desired, chocolate and caramel sauce.
