Basic SPAM® with Ramen Noodles image

Remember in college when you lived off of ramen noodles? Well, guess what, you're ready to graduate to a more refined dish. These ramen noodles are topped with SPAM® Classic, sautéd broccoli, bell peppers and sweet chili dipping sauce. Congrats grad!

1 (12-ounce) can SPAM® Classic, cubed
3 (3-ounce) packages Ramen noodles soup, chicken flavor
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 cups broccoli florets
1/2 cup yellow bell pepper, diced
1/2 cup cherry tomato halves
2 tablespoons HOUSE OF TSANG® sweet chili dipping sauce

Steps:

  • Cook noodles according to package, including seasoning packet. Drain and discard liquid and set noodles aside.
  • In large skillet, brown SPAM® Classic for 2 to 3 minutes. Remove from skillet.
  • In same skillet, heat oil over medium heat and sauté broccoli and bell pepper for 3 to 4 minutes or until crisp tender.
  • Stir in tomatoes, sweet chili sauce and reserved noodles, tossing to coat.
  • Stir in SPAM® Classic.

2 eggs, beaten
1 (18 ounce) box devil's food cake mix
1/2 cup vegetable oil
5 tablespoons jack daniel whiskey or 5 tablespoons other sweet whiskey
1/2 cup powdered sugar, for rolling
1 cup chopped pecans or 1 cup walnuts (optional)

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Combine eggs, cake mix, oil, nuts (if using) and whiskey in batter bowl and mix well.
  • Chill dough overnight, or at least 3 hours.
  • Form into small balls (about 1-2 tablespoons each) and roll in powdered sugar.
  • Place cookies on ungreased baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes, until almost no indentation remains when touched.
  • They will be soft when taken from the oven, but will crispen when cooled.
  • Bake for closer to 10 minutes if you like a softer cookie, closer to 15 for crispy ones!
  • If you want, sprinkle with a little more powdered sugar before serving.

18 1/4 ounces yellow cake mix
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/3 cup vegetable oil
2 eggs
1/2 cup sugar
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375.
  • Mix sugar and cinnamon and set aside.
  • In a bowl mix together cake mix, vanilla, oil, and eggs until dough is formed.
  • Shape cookie dough into 1 inch balls.
  • Roll balls in sugar-cinnamon mixture.
  • Bake 8 to 10 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • Remove from pan and cool.

  • Put 2 cups of water in a cooking pot and bring to a boil.
  • Once the water is boiling add your ramen noodles.
