1-3/4 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 cups sugar
3/4 cups dark brown sugar
1/4 cups cocoa powder
2 tsp ground ginger
1-1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp ground clove
12 Tbsp unsalted butter, melted and cooled
1/2 cup molasses
1/4 cup whole milk
1 large egg plus one yolk
1/4 cup boiling water
1-1/2 tsp baking soda
1-10 oz. bag pumpkin spice Hershey's Kisses, unwrapped

Steps:

  • Directions Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Butter and flour a 9x13-inch baking dish and set aside. Sift together all the dry ingredients into a large bowl. Combine the butter, molasses, milk, egg, and yolk in a medium bowl. Add the butter mixture to the flour mixture and stir to combine. In a small bowl, combine 1/4 cup boiling water with the baking soda. Add the water to the batter and stir to combine. Line the prepared pan with 50 kisses, then pour the batter evenly over top of the kisses (won't completely cover at first). Bake until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, about 30-35 minutes. Transfer brownies to a rack to cool before serving*.

2 teaspoons baking soda
1 ½ teaspoons salt
½ teaspoon baking powder

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease two 9x5 inch loaf pans.
  • In a large mixing, combine sugar, oil and eggs; beat until smooth. Add water and beat until well blended. Stir in pumpkin, ginger, allspice cinnamon, and clove.
  • In medium bowl, combine flour, soda, salt, and baking powder. Add dry ingredients to pumpkin mixture and blend just until all ingredients are mixed. Divide batter between prepared pans.
  • Bake in preheated oven until toothpick comes out clean, about 1 hour.

¾ cup all-purpose flour
½ teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
¾ cup butter, melted
1 ½ cups white sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
3 eggs
¼ cup cocoa powder
½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
½ cup pumpkin puree
½ cup chopped walnuts
¾ teaspoon ground cinnamon
½ teaspoon ground cloves
½ teaspoon ground nutmeg

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease an 8x8 inch baking pan. Stir the flour, baking powder, and salt together in a bowl.
  • In another bowl, stir together the melted butter, sugar, and vanilla extract; beat in the eggs one at a time with a spoon. Gradually add the flour mixture, and stir the batter until it's evenly moistened. Divide the batter in half in two separate bowls.
  • Into one bowl of batter, blend the cocoa powder and chocolate chips. In the second bowl of batter, stir in the pumpkin puree, walnuts, cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg.
  • Spread 1/2 of the chocolate batter into the bottom of the prepared baking pan, and follow with 1/2 of the pumpkin batter. Repeat the layers, ending with a pumpkin layer, and drag a kitchen knife or small spatula gently through the layers in a swirling motion, to create a marbled appearance.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until the brownies begin to pull away from the sides of the pan, and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, 40 to 45 minutes. Cool in the pan, cut into squares, and serve.

1/4 cup hot water
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
1 cup solid-pack pumpkin

2 to 3 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
54 milk chocolate kisses

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375°. In a large bowl, combine cookie mix, hot water and butter. Stir in pumpkin. In a small bowl, whisk flour and pie spice; gradually stir into mixture. Shape dough into 1-in. balls., Place 2 in. apart on ungreased baking sheets. Press a deep indentation in center of each with your thumb. Bake until set, 6-8 minutes.
