CHOCOLATE PUDDING CAKE
Starring chocolate and made with just six ingredients, this flourless cake has a pudding-like center. A water bath helps it cook gently and stay moist.

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees, and set a kettle of water to boil. Butter a shallow 2-quart baking dish; coat with granulated sugar, tapping out excess.
- In a large bowl, whisk egg yolks with granulated sugar until lightened in color. Whisk in melted chocolate; set aside.
- In a large, clean bowl, using an electric mixer on high, beat egg whites with salt until soft peaks form. Whisk 1/3 of whites into chocolate mixture. Add remaining whites, and gently fold with a rubber spatula just until combined (do not overmix).
- Transfer batter to prepared baking dish. Set dish in a roasting pan, and pour enough boiling water into pan to come about 1 inch up side of dish. Bake until puffed and just set (center of cake should barely move when jiggled), 25 to 35 minutes. Let cool 5 minutes; dust with confectioners' sugar just before serving.

- Preheat an oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Whisk the flour and baking powder together in a small bowl.
- Beat the white sugar, oil, and egg together in a bowl until smooth. Stir in the flour mixture alternately with the milk. Pour into a 9-inch square pan. Dissolve the brown sugar in the hot water, then pour stir in the melted butter. Drizzle the syrup over the pudding.
- Bake in the preheated oven until the pudding firms and becomes golden brown on top, about 40 minutes.

- Stir sugar, cornstarch, and salt together in a saucepan. Stream milk and half-and-half into the saucepan while stirring to dissolve the sugar mixture.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, reduce heat to medium, and cook, stirring continually, for 2 minutes. Remove saucepan from heat; stir peanut butter and vanilla extract into the milk mixture until smooth.
- Divide the mixture into 4 small serving dishes and refrigerate until firm, at least 30 minutes.

- First of all, cut each slice of buttered bread in half, then into quarters, leaving the crusts on. Now arrange one layer of buttered bread over the base of the dish, sprinkle over the candied peel and half the currants, then cover with another layer of the bread and the remainder of the currants. Next, in a measuring jug, measure out the milk and add the double cream. Stir in the caster sugar and lemon zest, then whisk the eggs, first on their own in a small bowl and then into the milk mixture. Now, pour the whole lot over the bread, grate some nutmeg over the surface then bake on the centre shelf of the oven for 30-40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and crusty. Remove it and leave for 5 minutes before serving

- Beat together egg yolks, lemon juice, lemon rind, and butter or margarine until thick and lemon colored. Combine sugar, flour, and salt; add alternately with milk to the yolk mixture, beating well after each addition.
- Beat egg whites until stiff. Blend egg whites into batter on low speed of electric mixer. Pour into 8 inch square baking dish.
- Place a pan of hot water in the oven, and set the baking dish into the pan. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 45 minutes.

- Coat the inside of a slow cooker with cooking spray.
- Whisk flour, brown sugar, baking powder, and baking soda together in a bowl. Whisk peanut butter, sour cream, melted butter, almond extract, and 2 tablespoons boiling water in a separate bowl until smooth. Stir flour mixture into peanut butter mixture to make a very thick batter. Scoop batter into prepared slow cooker.

- In a large saucepan, bring the water, milk, butter and salt to a boil. Add flour all at once and stir until a smooth ball forms. Remove from the heat; let stand for 5 minutes. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Continue beating until mixture is smooth and shiny. , Drop by 1/4 cupfuls into a 10-in. ring on a greased 12-in. pizza pan (mounds should be slightly touching). Bake at 400° for 40-45 minutes or until golden brown. , Remove to a wire rack. Immediately cut a slit in the side of each puff to allow steam to escape. Carefully cut ring in half horizontally and set top aside; remove soft dough from inside with a fork. Cool. , In a small bowl, whisk the milk, sour cream, pudding mix and 1/4 teaspoon extract for 2 minutes. Let stand for 2 minutes or until soft-set. , Just before serving, place bottom of cream puff ring on a serving plate. Fill with pudding mixture. I got this off the side of a Pillsbury cake mix box several years ago. I have made this several times and everyone loves it. Have given the recipe to lots of people. Very easy to make. - 1. Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Generously grease and flour 12-cup Bundt pan or 10-inch tube pan. In large bowl, combine cake ingredients at low speed until moistened; beat 2 minutes at high speed. Pour batter into greased and floured pan. Bake for 45 to 55 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 30 minutes; invert onto serving plate. Cool completely.
- 2. Frost if desired. Heat frosting in small saucepan until melted. Spoon glaze over cake, allowing some to run down sides. 16 servings
- 3. HIGH ALTITUDE - Above 3500 feet add 1/3 cup flour to dry cake mix and increase water to 1 1/4 cup. Bake as directed.
