Pear Vodka Breeze Food

VERY PEARY BREEZE COCKTAIL

Steps:

• Pour vodka over ice in a highball glass.
• Top with apple and cranberry juices.
• Garnish with lime wedge, if desired.

PEAR VODKA (HOMEMADE)

Steps:

• Place fruit in clear 1 quart jar. Stir in vodka and brandy and sugar. Marinate, covered, for several weeks in a cool, dark place. Shake when you remember. (I tasted mine after 2 weeks).
• Strain through a fine sieve lined with cheesecloth.
• Pour into sterilized bottles.

VERY PEARY BREEZE

Steps:

• Fill a highball glass to the rim with ice cubes.
• Pour the vodka over ice, and top off with apple juice and cranberry juice.
• Garnish with a lime wedge.

PEAR & VODKA COCKTAIL

Steps:

• Put the pear through a spiralizer to create long spaghetti-like strands. If you don't have a spiralizer, slice the pear into thin ribbons with a vegetable peeler, then cut the ribbons into thinner strips.
• Line up 4 tumblers and put 3-4 strands of pear in each one. Divide the lemon juice between the glasses to coat the pear strands and stop them discolouring while you make the cocktail.
• Pour the vodka and hazelnut liqueur into a cocktail shaker. Add a handful of ice and shake until the outside of the cocktail shaker starts to frost, then strain into the glasses. Top with the pressed pear juice divided between the 4 glasses.

PEAR BREEZE MARTINI

Steps:

• Combine ingredients in a shaker over ice.
• Shake, and strain into a martini glass.
• Garnish with lime -- or pear slices if you are so inclined!
