- In a small bowl, cream the peanut butter, butter and confectioners' sugar until smooth. Stir in crumbs. , Shape a teaspoonful of dough into 1-1/2-in. ovals; place on a waxed paper-lined baking sheet. Place chocolate in a small microwave-safe bowl; microwave on high for 1 minute or until melted. Let stand for 5 minutes. , Transfer melted chocolate to a resealable plastic bag; cut a very small hole in corner in bag. Pipe three stripes on each bee. Insert two almonds into each bee for wings. Use a toothpick to poke holes for eyes. Store in the refrigerator.

Steps:
- Add all ingredients to a large bowl. ( If desired: use food processor to grind up oatmeal first - do it before adding in other ingredients)
- Use a large spoon to stir the mixture. You want to mix everything together with no dry spots. If the mixture is too sticky - add a little more oatmeal. If too crumbly, add a little more peanut butter.
- Use your hands to roll the mixture into small balls and place in a flat pan. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 10 minutes.
- When firm, store the bites in a sealed container in the refrigerator for 7 - 10 days. For longer storage - freeze.

HOMEMADE HONEY PEANUT BUTTER
I decided to start making my own peanut butter when I read the ingredient list on a peanut butter jar label. While peanuts are good for you, the unhealthy additives and hydrogenated oils are not. This is all natural with no preservatives and has a much better flavor than store-bought peanut butter. Store in a sealed container in the refrigerator.

Steps:
- Combine peanuts and honey in a food processor; process until peanuts are coarsely chopped, 1 to 2 minutes. Scrape down sides of the food processor bowl with a spatula. Continue processing until very smooth, 2 to 3 minutes more.

PEANUT BUTTER JELLY COCKTAIL
Using the Perfect Manhattan template, I added a touch of Chambord to stand in for the jelly and the sweet part of the sweet vermouth, dry vermouth, and cut back the bourbon ratio just a bit to add in the flavored whiskey. This is a refined version of most peanut butter whiskey drinks - and one a bourbon lover is most likely to enjoy as it plays off the nuttiness of the base bourbon and the butterscotch flavor from the flavored whiskey.

- Add ice. Stir until very well-chilled.
