This is a no bake pie that you'll make over and over again.

1 9 inch graham cracker crust
1/2 cup crunchy peanut butter
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1 3.4 ounce package vanilla instant pudding (could use banana or banana cream pudding)
3 bananas (sliced)
1 cup milk
Cool whip or whipped topping
Lemon juice

Steps:

  • Place the chocolate chips and peanut butter in a small microwave safe bowl and microwave on high for about 35 to 40 seconds until creamy enough to mix together with a spoon. Spread in the bottom of the pie crust. Peel and slice the bananas in a bowl and sprinkle with lemon juice to keep them from turning black. In another bowl with an electric mixer, mix together the pudding mix with the one cup of milk. Fold in the bananas and put pudding in refrigerator for about five minutes until it starts to set up.
  • Spoon into pie crust and spread with a spoon. Spread whipped topping over the entire pie. Can garnish with banana slices or chocolate chips. Put in refrigerator for a couple hours before serving.

2 oz. BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate, divided
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
2 bananas, cut lengthwise in half, then crosswise into quarters
2 pkg. (3.4 oz. each) JELL-O Vanilla Flavor Instant Pudding
2 cups cold milk
2 cups thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping, divided
2 Tbsp. PLANTERS Salted Peanuts, coarsely chopped

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350ºF.
  • Mix wafer crumbs and butter until blended; press onto bottom and up side of 9-inch pie plate. Bake 5 to 8 min. or until golden brown. Cool completely. Meanwhile, make chocolate curls from 1/2 oz. chocolate. Refrigerate.
  • Microwave remaining 1-1/2 oz. chocolate and peanut butter in microwaveable bowl on HIGH 1 min.; stir until chocolate is completely melted and mixture is well blended. Place bananas in crust; drizzle with melted chocolate.
  • Beat pudding mixes and milk in large bowl with whisk 2 min. Stir in 1 cup COOL WHIP. Spread over bananas; top with remaining COOL WHIP.
  • Refrigerate 3 hours. Top with chocolate curls and nuts just before serving.

16 peanut butter sandwich cookies, divided
3 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
1 medium banana, thinly sliced
2 cups cold milk
2 pkg. (4-serving size each) JELL-O Chocolate Flavor Instant Pudding
1-1/2 cups (1/2 of an 8-oz. tub) thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping, divided

Steps:

  • Finely crush 14 of the cookies; mix with butter. Press firmly onto bottom and up side of 9-inch pie plate. Place banana slices on bottom of crust. Chop remaining 2 cookies; set aside.
  • Add milk to dry pudding mixes in medium bowl. Beat with wire whisk 2 min. Gently stir in 1 cup of the whipped topping; spread over banana slices. Top with remaining 1/2 cup whipped topping and the chopped cookies.
  • Refrigerate at least 4 hours before serving. Store leftover pie in refrigerator.

1 cup chocolate wafer crumbs (about 20 wafers)
1/4 cup butter, melted
2 medium firm bananas
3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
2 ounces semisweet chocolate, chopped
2 cups cold 2% milk
2 packages (3.4 ounces each) instant vanilla pudding mix
2 cups whipped topping, divided
2 tablespoons chopped salted peanuts
Peanut butter cups, optional

Steps:

  • In a small bowl, mix wafer crumbs and butter; press onto the bottom and up the sides of an ungreased 9-in. pie plate. Bake at 350° for 8-10 minutes or until set. Cool completely on a wire rack., Slice bananas; arrange on bottom of crust. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine peanut butter and chocolate; microwave on high for 1 to 1-1/2 minutes or until blended and smooth, stirring every 30 seconds. Spoon over bananas. , In a large bowl, whisk milk and pudding mix for 2 minutes. Let stand for 2 minutes or until soft-set. Fold in 1 cup whipped topping; spread over chocolate mixture. My family loves this pie. When my Uncle calls me the first thing he asked is if I have made it lately LOL You can use a bought Graham cracker crust. I use skim milk. Prep time includes crust baking and cooling times and is approximate.

1/3 cup margarine, melted
1 1/3 cups graham cracker crumbs
1/4 cup sugar
18 large marshmallows
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup peanut butter
2 cups whipped topping like Dream Whip (one envelope prepared)
2 bananas

Steps:

  • Mix together the crumbs, sugar and melted butter and press into a pie plate.
  • Bake 350 for 8 minutes. Set aside to cool on a rack.
  • Heat milk and marshmallows until melted and smooth. Remove from heat and add the peanut butter and stir until melted. Cool to room temperature. Fold in prepared Dream Whip.
  • Put sliced bananas on top of crust and pour in filling. Chill for about 4 hours.

This is an easy pie I put together one weekend when I was craving peanut butter, chocolate and bananas. The peanut butter layer keeps the crust from getting soggy, so this pie keeps well - that is if it lasts long enough to have leftovers. Any single crust 9" pie shell will work - I prefer a baked crust, but a crumb crust is fine. Cooking time is pie chilling time.

9 inches pie crusts, pre-baked if needed
5 ounces chocolate pudding, box cook and serve style
3 cups whole milk
4 ounces cream cheese
1/3 cup peanut butter, creamy style
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 medium bananas, peeled and sliced 1/4 inch thick

Steps:

  • If using a baked pie crust, pre-bake in a 9" pan and cool before proceeding.
  • If using a crumb crust, prepare a 9" pan accordingly.
  • Mix cream cheese, peanut butter, powdered sugar and vanilla and blend until smooth using a mixer on medium speed.
  • Gently spread the peanut butter mixture in an even layer into the prepared pie shell, including the sides of the pie crust. A rubber or silicone spatula works well.
  • Press sliced bananas into the peanut butter mixture, "standing up" around the sides of the pie shell, and a layer in the bottom.
  • Cook the pudding mix according to box directions, cool five minutes and then pour into pie shell over the bananas.
  • Smooth the pudding, cover with plastic wrap, and chill at least 3 hours before serving.
  • Serve topped with whipped cream or whipped topping.

2 squares baker's semisweet chocolate, divided
1/2 cup kraft smooth peanut butter
2 cups milk
2 (113 g) packages Jello Instant Vanilla Pudding Mix
2 cups Cool Whip, thawed
2 tablespoons salted peanuts, coarsely chopped

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°F
  • Mix wafer crumb and butter until well blended; press firmly onto bottom and up sides of 9-inch pie plate. Bake 5- 8 minutes or until golden brown. Cool completely; top with bananas.
  • Make chocolate curls from 1/2 square of the chocolate; reserve for garnish.   • To keep bananas from browning, brush with lemon juice.
  • HOW TO MAKE CHOCOLATE CURLS: Warm the chocolate slightly by heating it, unwrapped, in the microwave for a few seconds until you can just smudge the chocolate with your thumb. Hold the square steadily between thumb and fingers of one hand and draw a vegetable peeler slowly over flat bottom of square. Allow a thin layer of chocolate to curl as it is peeled off the bottom of the square. This will make long, delicate curls. Make short curls using the same technique on the narrow sides of the square. To arange curls on a dessert, use a tothpick to lift them into place.

My family loves this recipe. I found it in a Kraft food & family book. I will give the original recipe here. I have made a few changes for our family such as I like Reeses peanut butter and I use Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips if I don't have the bakers chocolate. I hope you all enjoy it as much as we do. Shortcut: You can substitute a prepared Nilla Pie Crust for the Nilla wafers and butter. Cooking time is actually refrigeration time.
