These are not P.B. cookies with choc. chips, or chocolate cookies with P.B. chips. These are the original Reese's P.B. chip cookies that they used to print on the back of the bag. They don't print this recipe anymore, but it has been my favorite since childhood. They are a traditional cookie with P.B. chips...Delicious! A great alternative to choc. chip cookies for those who don't like chocolate or want something different.

3/4 cup butter or 1 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup light brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 eggs
2 cups unsifted flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
reese's peanut butter chips (amount of your preference)

Steps:

  • Cream butter (or shortening), sugars, and vanilla until light and fluffy.
  • Add eggs and beat well.
  • Combine flour and baking soda.
  • Add to batter and mix well.
  • Stir in chips.
  • Place by teaspoon fulls onto ungreased cookie sheet.
  • Bake 350°F for 10-12 minutes.

1 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 cup sugar
1 cup packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tablespoon maple syrup
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 cup quick-cooking oats
1-1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 package (10 ounces) peanut butter chips

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, cream the butter, peanut butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in syrup and vanilla. Combine the flour, oats, baking powder, baking soda and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture and mix well. Stir in peanut butter chips. , Drop by heaping tablespoonfuls 2 in. apart onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 325° for 15-18 minutes or until golden brown. Cool for 1 minute before removing to wire racks to cool completely. May be frozen for up to 6 months.

2 cups (250g) plain/all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoons cornflour/cornstarch
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter, melted
3/4 cup (150g) light brown sugar
1/4 cup (50g) caster/granulated sugar
1 large egg
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/2 cup (125g) smooth peanut butter
1 cup (175g) peanut butter chips

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 180C/350F/Gas 4. Line a baking tray with parchment paper or a silicone mat, and set aside.
  • Whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cornflour, and salt. Set aside.
  • In a separate large bowl, whisk together the melted butter and sugars until combined.
  • Add the egg, vanilla, and peanut butter, and mix until combined.
  • Add the dry ingredients, and mix until just combined. Fold in the peanut butter chips.
  • TIP: If you find the cookie dough too crumbly, add milk (1 tablespoon at a time) and mix until it comes together and is easier to manage.
  • Roll the dough into 2-oz balls (or use a medium cookie scoop), and place onto the prepared baking tray. Bake for 10 - 12 minutes.
  • Allow to cool on the baking tray for 5 - 10 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Steps:

  • Arrange racks in upper and lower thirds of oven; preheat to 350°F. Line 2 rimmed baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • Beat egg with a whisk in a medium bowl. Add peanut butter and sugar and whisk until fully incorporated and smooth. Drop mounds of dough by the tablespoonful onto prepared baking sheets, spacing about 2" apart. Lightly press tops of cookies with tines of a fork, making a crosshatch pattern. Sprinkle with salt, if using. Bake cookies, rotating trays halfway through, until golden brown, 10-12 minutes. Transfer to a wire rack and let cool slightly.

½ cup white sugar

3 tablespoons orange juice
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

¼ teaspoon salt
1 ¼ cups semisweet chocolate chips

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets.
