This New Orleans classic warms you up no matter where you are. Don't skip the almond extract - it ties together all the ingredients, and gives the drink its trademark nutty backbone.

- Mix the passion fruit juice, pineapple juice, light rum, orange juice, dark rum, grenadine and almond extract together in a 2-gallon container. Chill until ready to serve. Pour the punch into a large punch bowl for serving. Serve in glasses filled with ice. Garnish with an orange wedge and a maraschino cherry.

- Mix gold rum, passion-fruit concentrate, mango nectar, guava nectar, and 2 tablespoons lime juice in pitcher. Taste, adding more lime juice, if desired. Add ice cubes and stir well to blend. Pour punch into 6 glasses. Garnish with fresh pineapple wedges and serve.

Fresh passion fruit is best for this punch; however, if that's hard to find, frozen purée or bottled nectar may be used instead. Mango purée also may be substituted for fresh mangoes. - Garnish each with an orange slice or lime slice or kiwifruit or sugar cane, if you like.
