PARTY ALMONDS
Great for nibbling at cocktail parties, spicy almonds can be prepared in 30 minutes. Guests will go nuts for them!

Steps:
- Heat oven to 325°F. In 2-quart saucepan, melt butter over low heat; stir in oil, chili powder, curry powder, Worcestershire sauce and pepper sauce. Simmer gently 2 to 3 minutes to blend flavors.
- Add almonds; toss to coat and spread in single layer in 15x10x1-inch pan.
- Bake 10 to 15 minutes, stirring once halfway through bake time. Pour hot nuts into large bowl, toss with salt to coat. Spread in single layer in same pan; cool to room temperature. Store in airtight container.

BASIL PESTO PARTY ALMONDS
These roasted, pesto-covered almonds make an irresistible snack or party appetizer. Recipe yields 2 cups pesto almonds.

- Preheat the oven to 225 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
- In a blender, combine the egg whites, basil leaves, salt, garlic powder and red pepper flakes. Process on low speed until mixture is pureed. In a small mixing bowl, toss the basil egg white mixture with the almonds until well combined. Let the almonds soak up some of the excess moisture for a few minutes. Stir in the Parmesan. Use a large mixing spoon to transfer the almonds to the prepared pan, leaving any excess basil mixture in the bowl.
- Spread almonds in a single layer on the baking sheet. Bake for 30 minutes or longer, stirring every 15 minutes, until the basil mixture is dried and the almonds are sufficiently crunchy. Let the almonds cool completely, then store in an air-tight container. Mine are in a freezer-safe bag in the freezer for my next girls' night.

ALMOND RASPBERRY COOKIES

- Preheat the oven to 350°F (176°C). Place the cookie dough in a Classic Batter Bowl. Chop the almonds very finely with the Food Chopper. Add the almonds and almond extract to the dough; mix well.Using a Small Scoop, drop dough 2 inches (5 cm) apart on flat Baking Stone. Press a lightly floured finger in center of dough to make indentations. Fill the indentations with about 1/2 teaspoon (2 mL) of raspberry preserves.Bake 15-18 minutes or until cookies are light golden brown. Place parchment paper under a Stackable Cooling Rack. Transfer the cookies from the baking stone to the cooling rack. Cool; sprinkle with powdered sugar.

- In a 350°F oven, toast almonds on baking sheet 10 minutes without stirring or shaking. Remove from oven; cool. Reduce oven temperature to 250°F. In saucepan over medium-low heat, bring teriyaki marinade & sauce, water, brown sugar and pepper sauce to a boil. Stir in almonds; boil, stirring frequently, 5 minutes or until almonds absorb liquid. Add oil; toss to coat almonds. Spread almonds on baking sheet in single layer; bake 5 minutes. Shake almonds; turn pan and bake 5 minutes more. Remove almonds from pan and cool in single layer. Store in roomy container or plastic bag.
BAKED BRIE WITH ALMONDS
This easy baked Brie is a great appetizer if you're hosting a small holiday party. This Brie recipe is quick to make, but it'll disappear just as quickly.

- Preheat oven to 350ºF.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place Brie in the center. Bake for 8-10 minutes. To check if it's ready, gently touch the center of the Brie; it should be very soft.
- With a spatula, carefully transfer Brie to a serving plate, drizzle with honey, and top with honeycomb pieces, Marcona almonds, figs, and rosemary sprigs. Serve with crackers.
