Ingredients

1 Yellow cake mix
1/4 Cup Oil or butter
1 Egg
8 Oz Cream cheese
1 Stick butter
2 Eggs
1 Box powdered sugar
1 cup chopped pecans

Steps:

Mix first 3 ingredients by hand and pat into ungreased 9x12 pan. Mix the rest of ingredients and add over first mixture. Sprinkle with 1 cup chopped pecans. Bake for 55 minutes.

1/2-1 cup melted butter
3 eggs, divided
1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
1 (1 lb) box powdered sugar
8 ounces cream cheese

Steps:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Butter and flour a 13 by 9 inch baking dish.
Combine dry ingredients, butter and 1 egg.
Add pecans if desired.
Spread in greased pan.
Beat powdered sugar, cream cheese and remaining 2 eggs together and spread on top of the cake.
Bake for 50 minutes or until cake tests done.

Steps:

1. Mix cake mix, 1 stick butter and 1 egg. Press into greased and floured 9x13 baking pan. In separate bowl, mix cream cheese, 1 stick butter, powdered sugar, and 2 eggs. Pour over cookie layer.
2. Top with 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans. Bake at 300 for 50-55 minutes.

These are sinfully rich and always a hit at potlucks. The person I got the recipe from said they are called Neiman Marcus bars because the ingredients are expensive (I think she was talking about the 2 cups of pecans).

Mix crust ingredients and press into 9x13" cake pan.
With mixer mix powdered sugar, butter and cream cheese until combined.
Fold pecans into filling mixture.
Pour filling over crust.
Bake 1 hr to 1 hr 15 min at 300 degrees.
Let bars cool and cut into squares.
