1 cup simple syrup
3 whole star anises
2 cinnamon sticks
1 cup brandy
2 cups orange juice
1 orange, sliced
1 lemon, sliced
1 lime, sliced, plus more for garnish
1 bottle red wine, spanish red wine, such as Rioja

Steps:

  • In a large pot over medium-low heat or a slow cooker, combine the simple syrup, star anise, cinnamon sticks, brandy, orange juice, orange, lemon, lime, and red wine.
  • Stir well, cover, and simmer over low heat for at least 20 minutes, until warmed through.
  • Ladle the sangria into mugs and garnish with lime wedges.
  • Enjoy!

10 cups red wine
5 cups pineapple juice
2 cups sugar
2 oranges, thinly sliced
3 cinnamon sticks
10 cloves
10 black peppercorns
2 fresh gingers, 1-inch (2-cm)
orange, sliced into wheels, for garnish

Steps:

  • Add the red wine, pineapple juice, and sugar to a slow cooker. Whisk to dissolve the sugar.
  • Add the sliced oranges, cinnamon sticks, cloves, peppercorns, and ginger.
  • Turn the heat to high, cover, and warm for 30-60 minutes, until steaming. Once steaming, reduce the heat setting to warm.
  • Ladle into mugs and garnish with orange wheels.
  • Enjoy!

3 tablespoons sugar
1 orange, thinly sliced
1 lemon, thinly sliced

Steps:

  • Combine wine, juice, brandy and sugar in a medium saucepan over low heat and heat until the sugar has melted. Add the orange and lemon slices and let simmer for 5 minutes. Serve in heat resistant glasses.

¼ cup lemon juice
⅓ cup frozen lemonade concentrate
⅓ cup orange juice
1 (750 milliliter) bottle dry red wine
½ cup triple sec
1 lemon, sliced into rounds
1 orange, sliced into rounds
1 lime, sliced into rounds
¼ cup white sugar
8 maraschino cherries
2 cups carbonated water

Steps:

  • In a large pitcher or bowl, mix together the brandy, lemon juice, lemonade concentrate, orange juice, red wine, triple sec, and sugar. Float slices of lemon, orange and lime, and maraschino cherries in the mixture. Refrigerate overnight for best flavor. For a fizzy sangria, add club soda just before serving.
