DEEP DISH COOKIE IN A MUG

Steps:

• Mix melted butter, white sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla together in a microwave-safe mug; add flour, baking powder, and salt and mix thoroughly. Stir chocolate chips into the doughy mixture until just combined.
• Cook in microwave oven until cookie-like, about 1 minute.

MUG COOKIE

Steps:

• Microwave the butter on high in a small microwave-safe mug until melted, 20 to 35 seconds. Tilt the mug so that the butter greases the sides. Add the brown sugar, granulated sugar, vanilla extract and egg yolk and mix with a fork until combined. Add the flour and salt and mix until just combined, then fold in the desired mix-ins. Top with the sea salt, if using. Microwave on high until the cookie is puffed and springs back when gently pressed, 60 to 75 seconds. Let sit for 1 minute before serving warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE IN A MUG

Steps:

• Place the butter in a mug (an 8-ounce mug is the perfect size, but larger will work too) and melt in the microwave for about 30 seconds. Using a small spoon, stir in the brown sugar, vanilla, and salt (don't worry if it looks a little separated). Add the egg yolk and stir until smooth. Stir in the flour and baking soda. Stir in two-thirds of the chocolate chips, and then sprinkle the remaining chips on the top. Microwave on high heat for about 45 seconds, until the dough puffs and looks dry. Remove from the microwave and let cool for a few minutes before eating. (The cookie should be eaten warm; it dries out once cool.)
• Pro Tip: For clean edges, use a paper towel to wipe off any batter from the inside of the cup (up to the level of the batter) before baking.

COOKIE IN A MUG

Steps:

• Put the butter in a mug and melt in the microwave until it has melted but is not boiling. This should take 30-60 seconds.
• Take it out and add the sugar, salt and vanilla extract, mix until well-combined. Then add the egg yolk and mix in until there are no traces of egg are seen. Mix in the flour and then fold in the chocolate chips. (I suggest 1 tbsp of chocolate chips otherwise it is too sickly).
• Microwave for 40 seconds (maximum 50 seconds). The cookie may look under cooked but do not overheat!
• Serve warm with a dollop of ice cream. Serves 1 or 2 if there are smaller portions.

SUGAR COOKIE IN A MUG OR COFFEE CUP

Steps:

• Spray microwave safe coffee mug with vegetable oil spray.
• Place butter in the mug & melt in microwave (about 30 seconds).
• Add sugar, vanilla and salt and stir together.
• Add the egg yolk, mixing thoroughly.
• Add flour and stir until combined.
• Top with sprinkles and cook in the microwave for about 40-45 seconds. Check for doneness with a toothpick.

CHOCOLATE CHIP MUG COOKIE

Steps:

• Melt butter in microwave. Add sugars, vanilla, salt, egg yolk and stir. Add flour, mix well until fully combined. Stir in chocolate chips. Microwave for 30-50 seconds depending on your microwave wattage.
