CREAMY SHRIMP ALFREDO LINGUINE
A quick and easy linguine pasta with succulent shrimp in a creamy alfredo sauce along with bacon and broccoli!

Steps:
- Start cooking the pasta as directed and steam the broccoli.
- Cook the bacon in a large pan and set aside on paper towels to drain, before draining off some or all of the bacon grease from the pan.
- Melt the butter in the pan over medium-high heat, add the shrimp and cook, about 2-3 minutes per side, and set aside.
- Add the garlic to the pan and red pepper flakes and saute until fragrant, about a 30 seconds.
- Deglaze the pan with the wine, add the heavy cream, and parmesan and cook until the parmesan melts and the sauce thickens a bit, about 3-5 minutes, before seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.
- Toss the pasta in with the alfredo sauce along with the shrimp, bacon and broccoli and serve garnished with parsley.

- Start your pasta boiling and cook until al dente. Save 2 cups of your pasta water. In a medium sauce pan, pour in the Chardonnay and heat to boiling. Reduce the heat and add the bay shrimp, sauteing until warmed throughout. Set aside but keep it warm. In a large saute pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the garlic and saute until you can smell the garlic. Pour in the heavy cream and stir together over medium heat until mixture reduces a little, stirring frequently. Add the cheese and whisk until smooth, about 3-4 minutes. Add the freshly grated nutmeg and the freshly ground pepper, stirring until well mixed. Add the shrimp mixture to the Alfredo pan and stir until well incorporated. Drain the cooked alfredo and pour into the Alfredo sauce, stiring until well blended. If mixture is too thick, add some pasta water, a little at a time until you reach your desired consistancy. Pour into serving bowl(s) and top with fresh chopped parsley and more shaved Parmegiano Reggiano if desired. Enjoy!

- In large saucepan, saute garlic in butter. Stir in the cream and 1 teaspoon parsley. Combine cornstarch and water until smooth; stir into cream mixture. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened.

- Simmer until garlic is tender.
- If adding shrimp, add to skillet and cook over medium-low heat until opaque.
