1 (14.75 ounce) can canned salmon
1 egg
¼ cup chopped onion
½ cup seasoned dry bread crumbs
1 tablespoon olive oil

Steps:

  • Drain and reserve liquid from salmon. Mix egg, onion, bread crumbs and salmon together.
  • Make into patties. If mixture is too dry to form into patties, add reserved liquid from salmon.
  • In a frying pan, heat olive oil. Place patties in pan. Brown on each side, turning gently. Drain on paper towels and serve.

1 (14.75 ounce) can salmon, drained and flaked
1 (7.5 ounce) can salmon, drained and flaked
1 (4 ounce) packet saltine crackers, crushed
2 eggs, beaten
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 ½ teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1 ½ teaspoons fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 teaspoon dry mustard
2 tablespoons vegetable oil, or as needed

Steps:

  • Mix both amounts of salmon, crushed crackers, eggs, mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, red pepper flakes, and dry mustard together in a bowl. Chill in refrigerator to allow flavors to combine, 30 minutes. Form mixture into 6 patties.
  • Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat; fry the salmon patties until golden brown, about 4 minutes per side.

1 dash salt
6 saltine crackers, crumbled
2 tablespoons parmesan cheese, grated

Steps:

  • Drain water off salmon.
  • Mix salmon, salt, crackers, cheese, lemon juice, egg and onions in a small bowl.
  • Shape into patties and dredge in cornmeal.
  • Over medium-high heat, heat oil in skillet.
  • Add patties, cooking on each side for approximately 5 minutes, or until brown.

1 tablespoon minced green pepper
1 tablespoon minced celery
1 tablespoon butter
1 (16 ounce) can salmon
1 teaspoon horseradish
1 -2 egg
2 -3 tablespoons oatmeal (depending on size of salmon)
2 teaspoons vegetable oil or 2 teaspoons butter

Steps:

  • Saute' onion, green pepper, and celery to soften, then mix it all with the remaining ingredients.
  • Fry each side in oil and/or butter until lightly crispy.
  • Serve with tartar sauce (preferably made from mayo and with no sugar- see my mom's tartar sauce recipe also on RecipeZaar).
  • Makes 4 to 6 patties.
  • (Minced garlic clove is also a good addition.).

2 (6 ounce) cans boneless skinless pink salmon
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1 tablespoon onion, minced

Steps:

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet.
  • Drain salmon and flake it into a bowl. Add eggs, onion and parsely. Mix well.
  • Shape into 4 patties and fry in pan until lightly browned on both sides and cooked through, about 8-10 minutes.
  • Note- Sometimes I don't feel like making the patties and just throw it all in the skillet and make scrambled salmon.

1 small onion, minced
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 sprigs fresh dill, finely chopped
1 sprig fresh parsley, finely chopped

6 tablespoons Japanese-style panko bread crumbs
¼ teaspoon lemon-pepper seasoning (such as Goya®)

  • Drain and debone salmon.
  • In bowl mix salmon, egg and onions.
  • Right before frying, add crushed crackers; mix again (I use my hands).
  • Form 6 patties.
  • In frying pan, heat oil and butter until melted.
  • On medium heat, fry 5 minutes per side, or until golden brown.
  • You may need to add more oil and butter.

1 units onion
1 units eggs
0.5 cups bread crumbs
1 units oil
1 cans mushroom soup
0.5 cups milk

Steps:

  • Clean the salmon (make sure to get all the bones out). Chop onion into small pieces.
  • In large bowl, break up the salmon, add the egg, bread crumbs and chopped onions. Mix together and make into patties.
  • Put oil into frying pan over medium heat. Once oil is hot, add the patties, cover and turning them once. Cook for a total of 30 minutes.
  • When patties are almost done, in a separate pan add the cream of mushroom and milk, heat until hot. When patties are done, pour the cream of mushroom sauce over them.
