1 pound ground beef
6 bacon strips, diced
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 package (8 ounces) Velveeta, cubed
1 tube (16.3 ounces) large refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
1/2 cup ketchup
1/4 cup yellow mustard

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400°. In a large skillet, cook beef, bacon and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Add cheese; cook and stir until melted. Remove from heat., Flatten biscuits into 5-in. circles; top each with 1/3 cup beef mixture. Fold sides and ends over filling and roll up. Place seam side down on a greased baking sheet., Bake until golden brown, 18-20 minutes. In a small bowl, combine ketchup and mustard; serve with roll-ups.

1 pound ground beef
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 envelope onion soup mix
3 tubes (8 ounces each) refrigerated crescent rolls

Steps:

  • In a large skillet, cook beef over medium heat until no longer pink, 5-7 minutes, breaking up beef into crumbles; drain. Stir in cheese and soup mix; set aside. Separate crescent dough into triangles; cut each triangle in half lengthwise, forming 2 triangles. Place 1 tablespoon of the beef mixture along the wide end of each triangle. Roll up; place pointed side down 2 in. apart on ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 375° for 15 minutes or until golden brown.

After the buns come out of the oven, we brush them with melted butter to make them even more delicious. We turned these into mini buns, but if you want to make regular-sizes buns, just divide the dough into 8 equal portions and bake for 15-18 minutes instead.

1 cup lukewarm water
1 tablespoon active dry yeast
3 tablespoons granulated sugar
3 ½ cups all purpose flour
1 teaspoon kosher salt
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, room temperature
1 large egg
nonstick cooking spray, for greasing
3 tablespoons melted unsalted butter, for finishing

Steps:

  • Add the lukewarm water to a 2-cup liquid measuring cup or medium bowl. Add the yeast and sugar and stir to combine. Let sit for 5-10 minutes, until frothy and doubled in volume.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the flour and salt. Add the butter, egg, and the yeast mixture and stir with a rubber spatula into a shaggy dough.
  • Turn the dough out onto a clean surface and knead until smooth and soft, about 4 minutes. Place the dough in a clean large bowl lightly greased with nonstick spray and cover with a towel. Let rest until in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
  • Preheat the oven to 400°F ( 200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Lightly grease a clean surface and place the dough on top. Pat down with your hands to about ¼-inch thick. Use a ¾-inch (2-cm) round cutter to cut out small circles. Place on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Brush the tops of the buns with melted butter, then bake for 7-10 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown.
  • Remove the buns from the oven and brush with more melted butter while they are still warm. Let cool for at least 5 minutes before serving.
  • Enjoy!

12 Hawaiian Rolls
1 lb. ground beef 80/20
12 slices American Cheese
6 slices Bacon cooked
12 slices Pickles
ketchup and mustard or condiments of your choice; ketchup and mayonnaise spread in rolls also works well
¼ tsp. Salt
2 tsp Olive oil
1 Tbsp. Onion powder
2 tsp Sesame seeds
1 Tbsp. Butter melted
1 tsp. Garlic powder

Steps:

  • Preheat your oven to 350° F. Season 1 lb. ground beef with ¼ tsp. salt and 1 Tbsp. onion powder. Add the beef mixture to a large skillet and cook until the meat browns and cooks through. See recipe tips below for help cooking the best ground beef ever!
  • After it cooks through, drain the grease from your ground beef and set the beef aside. Split 12 Hawaiian rolls in half. Set the tops aside. Place the bottom half of the rolls back into the container they came packaged in.Place a slice of American cheese on each bottom roll. Then, spread the beef mixture over the cheese.Top with another slice of cheese. Break up the cooked bacon* into 12 pieces and add a piece to each roll. Optional: Add a pickle slice. Drizzle the top with ketchup and mustard or spread a ketchup and mayonnaise mixture inside of the rolls.
  • Add the tops of the rolls. Cover the container the sliders are sitting in with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes. Then, remove the foil and brush with 1 Tbsp. melted butter mixed with 1 tsp. garlic powder.
