Mignons Microwave Chorizo Cheese Dip Food

MIGNON'S MICROWAVE CHORIZO CHEESE DIP

Steps:

• Spread chorizo on paper towel on microwave plate. Microwave on high until brown and crisp - about 3 minute.
• Combine chorizo, green chilies and cheese in a mixing bowl - Cover with plastic wrap and vent one corner. Microwave on medium until the cheese is melted about 6-8 minutes. Stir quickly and transfer to a 3 cups shallow baking dish. Serve with chips or stiff bread.

THREE-CHEESE CHORIZO DIP

Steps:

• Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add some olive oil and the chorizo, and cook, breaking the meat up with a spoon, until browned, about 5 minutes. Add the bell pepper, onion, chili powder and tomatoes and cook until slightly thickened, about 5 minutes.
• Preheat the broiler. Transfer the chorizo mixture to an oven-safe dish and layer on the Muenster, manchego and Gruyere.
• Broil until the cheese is melted and golden brown. Serve with the baguette slices.

SPICY CHEESE DIP (MICROWAVE)

Steps:

• Mix cheese, tomato and onion in a bowl (microwave safe).
• Add salsa.
• Cook 8 to 12 minutes, at high heat, stirring 2 or 3 times.
• Serve while it's very hot with tostitos.

CHORIZO QUESO DIP

Steps:

• Remove casing from chorizo. Heat skillet over medium-high heat. Crumble chorizo into skillet; cook, stirring frequently and using a spoon to break up lumps, until sausage is well-browned, about 5 minutes. Remove sausage to paper towels to drain.
• In a large microwave-safe bowl, combine Mexican cheese, cream cheese and milk. Microwave at Medium (50% power) stirring every minute until melted and hot, 6 to 8 minutes. Alternatively, you can prepare in the top of a double boiler over simmering water, stirring constantly, but melting time may differ.
• Stir in chorizo, tomato, green onion and jalapeno. Place in fondue pot or slow cooker to keep warm. Serve with garlic tortilla chips.
