MEMAW'S PEACH COBBLER

Memaw's Peach Cobbler image

As the title implies, this recipe comes from my late grandmother, as shared with me by my mother.

Provided by Megan Scott

Number Of Ingredients 7

Ingredients

1/4 c + 2 tbsp butter
2 c sugar (divided)
3/4 c flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 dash(es) salt
3/4 c milk
2 c sliced peaches

Steps:

1. Melt butter in 2 qt. baking dish. Combine 1 c. sugar, flour, baking powder, salt. Add milk and stir until mixed. Pour batter over butter in baking dish; do not stir. Combine peaches and remaining sugar. Spoon over batter. Do not stir. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
