- In a saucepan, combine sugar, milk, cocoa and corn syrup. Bring to a boil; boil 1 minute. Remove from the heat; stir in vanilla. Best served immediately. Serve as a dip for fruit, or pour over frozen yogurt or angel food cake.

This sauce is so good it disappears quickly. It is delectable as a dessert topping over ice cream, sponge cake, or fresh pears, and is superb as the base for chocolate drinks.

Steps:
- Combine cornstarch and cocoa.
- Whisk into cold water in a saucepan until there are no dry bits.
- Cook, stirring frequently, until mixture comes to a boil.
- Stir 1 minute until mixture thickens.
- Remove from heat, stir in sweetener and vanilla, cover and allow to cool.
- Store in clean jar in refrigerator up to 6 weeks.
- Variation: Mocha Sauce: Substitute 2 cups strong coffee for water.

- Add liquid Butter Buds and the water. Heat, stirring constantly.
- Add the honey. Boil and stir for 1 minute.
- Remove from the heat and stir in the marshmallows and the vanilla. Stir till the marshmallows are melted and the sauce is smooth.
- Serve over frozen yogurt.

- In a small heavy-bottomed saucepan combine sugar, cocoa, cornstarch and pinch salt.
- Stir in the evaporated milk and whisk constantly over LOW heat for 3 minutes or until the mixture comes to a boil; whisk simmering for another 1-2 minutes longer over low heat until thickened.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.
- Serve warm or cold.
- Delicious!
