This is truly a 'tart' tart! Lemon pudding, cream cheese and confectioners' sugar create a tart filling. The pretzel crust lends a salty flavor.

½ cup white sugar
½ cup butter, softened
1 ½ cups crushed pretzels
1 (3.4 ounce) package instant lemon pudding mix
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 cup confectioners' sugar
1 (12 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed

Steps:

  • In a mixing bowl, thoroughly cream sugar and butter. Mix in pretzels. Press mixture into a 9x13 inch baking pan. Cover and refrigerate.
  • Prepare lemon pudding mix according to package instructions. In a separate bowl, beat together cream cheese and confectioners' sugar. Fold in whipped topping.
  • Spread cream cheese mixture over top of pretzel crust. Then spoon lemon pudding over cream cheese layer. Cover and refrigerate until pudding is set.

3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup butter, melted
1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
1 cup confectioners' sugar
1 carton (8 ounces) frozen whipped topping, thawed
1 can (21 ounces) cherry pie filling

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, toss 1-1/2 cups pretzels with sugar and melted butter. Press into an ungreased 13x9-in. dish., In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and confectioners' sugar until smooth. Fold in whipped topping., Spread half of the mixture over pretzel layer. Top with pie filling; spread with remaining cream cheese mixture. Sprinkle with remaining pretzels. Refrigerate, covered, overnight before serving.,

Refreshingly satisfying! Fresh lemon, mango, and kiwi are fused with fluffy cool cream cheese, all sitting atop a yummy salty sweet pretzel crust...wow, what else can you say?! It always disappears with a quickness. Perfect for BBQs, holidays, pitch-ins, or just a tasty treat with a hot cup of tea. Enjoy!

2 cups crushed pretzels
¾ cup butter, melted
3 tablespoons brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
½ lemon, juiced
1 ½ lemons, zested, or more to taste
1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping (such as Cool Whip®), thawed
1 ½ cups boiling water
2 (3 ounce) packages lemon-flavored gelatin mix (such as Jell-O®)
½ cup fresh lemon juice, strained
1 mango, peeled and chopped
1 kiwi, peeled and sliced

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Mix crushed pretzels, butter, and brown sugar together in a bowl; press into a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes; set aside to cool completely. Crust will be soft when taken out of the oven and will harden as it cools.
  • Mix white sugar, cream cheese, and vanilla extract together in a large bowl until smooth. Stir juice from 1/2 lemon and lemon zest into cream cheese mixture and mix well; fold in whipped topping. Spread cream cheese mixture evenly over cooled crust; refrigerate until set, about 30 minutes.
  • Mix boiling water and lemon-flavored gelatin mix together in a bowl until dissolved. Add 1/2 cup strained lemon juice and mix well. Refrigerate gelatin mixture until slightly thickened, about 1 hour.
  • Ladle enough gelatin mixture over cream cheese layer to cover, setting remaining gelatin mixture aside. Arrange mango and kiwi onto gelatin mixture layer and pour remaining gelatin mixture over fruit layer. Refrigerate until completely chilled and set, about 2 hours.

FILLING:
1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
1 cup sugar
1 carton (8 ounces) frozen whipped topping, thawed
TOPPING:
2 packages (3 ounces each) strawberry gelatin
2 cups boiling water
1/2 cup cold water
Optional: Fresh strawberries and additional whipped topping

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°. Mix crushed pretzels, melted butter and sugar; press onto bottom of an ungreased 13x9-in. baking dish. Bake 10 minutes. Cool completely. , For filling, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Stir in whipped topping; spread over crust. Refrigerate, covered, until cold. , In a small bowl, dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Stir in cold water; refrigerate until partially set. Pour carefully over filling.
