PEAR-LEMON MARTINIS

- Combine the lemon slices, sugar and vanilla in a resealable container; cover and shake vigorously until the lemon slices are coated. Set aside, shaking occasionally, until the sugar dissolves, about 30 minutes. Smash the lemon slices with a fork to release the juices. Let sit 30 minutes, then refrigerate until ready to use.
- Fill 2 martini glasses with ice and set aside. Shake the lemons again, then strain the juice into a liquid measuring cup. Combine the vodka, vermouth, pear nectar and 1 1/2 ounces of the lemon syrup in a cocktail shaker. Fill with ice and stir until cold. Discard the ice in the martini glasses and strain the drink into the chilled glasses. Garnish with pear slices and lemon twists.
HONEY LEMON-DROP MARTINI

- For the honey syrup: Whisk together the honey and water in a small saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a simmer and stir until dissolved, about 1 minute. Cool and store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
- For the martinis: Stir together the lemon juice, vodka or gin, 3/4 cup honey syrup and 1 1/2 cups water in a carafe or pitcher. Wrap and refrigerate until chilled, 3 to 4 hours. When ready to serve, pour into chilled martini glasses and garnish with lemon wheels.
LEMON DROP MARTINI

- Gather the ingredients.
- Rim a cocktail glass with sugar : Place the sugar in a shallow dish. Wipe a lemon wedge around the glass to wet the surface, then dip it into the sugar. Set aside to dry while you mix the drink.
- In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, pour the vodka, lemon juice, and simple syrup.
- Shake well .
- Strain into the rimmed glass.
- Garnish with a lemon twist. Serve and enjoy.

- In a plastic food storage bag, crush the meringues with a rolling pin or your hands. Put the crumbs onto a plate and pour some water onto another plate. Put a shot of the limoncello in a small plate. Dip the rim of a martini glass into the limoncello, shaking off any excess, then into the meringue crumbs. Repeat with 3 more glasses and set aside while you make the drink.
- In a pitcher filled with ice, pour in the 4 shots of limoncello, the vodka and the lemonade and stir. Strain the drink evenly into the 4 prepared glasses and serve.

- Using lemon slice, moisten the rim of a chilled cocktail glass; set lemon aside. Sprinkle sugar on a plate; hold glass upside down and dip rim into sugar. Discard remaining sugar on plate. - Remove 8 thin strips of zest from the lemon using a vegetable peeler and set aside. Thinly slice the lemon and place in a small pot with the sugar and 1/3 cup water. Bring to a boil and cook until the sugar dissolves. Let cool and strain the syrup.
- For each of 8 martini glasses, rub a strip of zest around the rim and then drop in the bottom of the glass for garnish. Combine the gin, elderflower liqueur, lemon syrup and ice in a measuring cup or pitcher and stir until very cold. Remove any unmelted ice or strain into the prepared glasses. Serve icy cold.

- Chill martini glasses in freezer for at least 10 minutes prior to serving.
- Place Vodka, Triple Sec, lemon juice and sugar into a cocktail shaker with 4-5 ice cubes and shake vigorously for 30 seconds.
- Run the lemon twist around the edge of the chilled martini glass and dunk in a small amount of sugar for a coated rim.
- Pour the strained martini into the chilled glasses and serve.
