Steps:
- Cook pasta according to package instructions.
- In a large skillet, saute over medium heat, the sausage and garlic in butter.
- Combine cornstarch and low-fat milk until smooth.
- Gradually add the cornstarch mixture to the skillet.
- Bring to a boil over medium high heat and cook for 2 minutes, stirring constantly or until thickened. (You may reduce the heat to medium after this comes to a boil to keep from scorching mixture).
- Drain pasta and add to skillet.
- Stir in peas and cook over medium heat until they are tender.
- Reduce heat to medium low, add cheese and cook until cheese is melted.

PASTA SKILLET WITH KIELBASA
Inspired by several recipes here, I created this pasta skillet with what I had on hand, and everyone loved it! Nice change from regular pasta and meat, have to try it with fresh tomatoes when they are ready from the garden!

Steps:
- Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil for pasta.
- Meanwhile, heat olive oil over medium-high heat in a deep skillet. Add onion and garlic to the hot oil and saute just until tender, about 5 minutes. Add kielbasa to the skillet and cook and stir until browned, 3 to 4 minutes. Stir in tomatoes, mushrooms, sugar, balsamic, salt, black pepper, and red pepper. Reduce heat and let sauce simmer while you cook pasta.
- Add penne to the pot of boiling water and cook, stirring occasionally, until tender yet firm to the bite, about 11 minutes, stirring peas into pasta during last 2 minutes of cooking time.
- Drain pasta and transfer to sauce. Stir to combine and add basil. Heat over medium-low heat so pasta can absorb liquid from sauce, about 5 minutes. Stir in Cheddar-Monterey Jack cheese and serve.

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain.
- In a medium skillet over medium-high heat, cook sausage in oil until browned on both sides, 5 minutes.
- In a large bowl, combine ziti, sausage, stewed tomatoes, tomato sauce, oregano, parsley and pepper. Mix well. Pour into 9x13 baking dish. Sprinkle with bread crumbs and top with shredded cheese.
- Cover with foil and bake in preheated oven 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake 10 to 15 minutes more, until top is golden.

- Add olive oil to a 4-5 quart saute pan over medium high heat. Fry the smoked kielbasa and onions. Add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Add chicken broth, tomatoes, heavy cream, pasta, and seasonings. Simmer for 15 minutes, or untill pasta is tender. Remove skillet from heat and stir in 1/2 cup cheese. Top with remaining cheese and cover until cheese is melted, spotty brown, and bubbly. Sprinkle with sliced scallions and serve. This only makes 4 large servings, so if you are feeding a larger group or want leftovers,I'd recommend doubling the recipe, it's well worth it! Enjoy!

- Heat oven to 350°F.
- Cook pasta in a large pot of lightly salted boiling water until al dente, firm but tender. Drain well. Place in a 13x9x2 inch baking dish. Add peas, sprinkling evenly over pasta.
- Meanwhile, brown kielbasa in a medium size nonstick skillet over medium-high heat 5 to 7 minutes. Add to pasta in baking dish.
- Whisk together soup, milk, hot pepper sauce, and black pepper in a medium size bowl. Add to baking dish and toss to coat pasta.
- Bake in heated 350°F oven about 30 minutes or until heated through.

SPICY KIELBASA PASTA!
And now for something completely different! Trying to dress up Kielbasa I just kept adding stuff until it turned out yummy! Being a spice lover and looking for an easy mid-week fix that wasn't bland this worked out wonderfully! This is so rich & creamy it's perfect on a cold evening, so easy, so different, so yummy! - The packet of crushed red pepper I used was from Pizza Hut, it was available & easy so I just added that. You can substitute about 1 tbsp crushed red pepper if you don't have one laying around --
- Prepare pasta according to package directions & drain. While pasta is cooking, heat butter & olive oil, add Kielbasa, crushed pepper & red bell pepper, sautee' until kielbasa is browned.
- In pasta pot add drained pasta, kielbasa mixture, pasta sauce & sour cream. Heat through, serve & top with parmesan to taste. You can omit the parmesan if you like, it's still very tasty!

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F if baking right away (optional: you can also cover and refrigerate or freeze for another day). Lightly grease a 9x13" baking dish.
- Melt the butter in a medium skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the onion and cook until softened and translucent. Stir in garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper and cook 1 minute.
- Stir in the flour until no white streaks remain. Cook for 1 minute.
- Whisk in the milk and broth, and cook over medium heat until thickened, stirring constantly. This should take between 5-10 minutes.

- In a large mixing bowl, add the pork, beef and pork fat. In a small mixing bowl, combine the remaining ingredients together. Mix well. Toss the meat with the seasoning blend and mix well. Cover and refrigerate for 24 hours. Grind the meat twice in a meat grinder fitted with a 1/2-inch die. A food processor could also be used.
