BREAD MACHINE JELLY
From Bread Machine Digest. Do not use regular pectin, which requires more sugar than the machine can handle. Recipe makes jelly if you use fruit juice or jam if you use fruit; 'zaar wouldn't let me clearly identify EITHER juice or fruit.

HOT PEPPER JAM FOR BREAD MACHINE
The bell peppers, can be any color you want, the chunks will still be there so you can choose your own color palette. Also, think a person could freeze it. Really good with Recipe#39881. Because I value Chef#383346s opinion, I have reduced the sugar from 1 cup to 1/3 cup. I also have wondered about garlic? Try this with my recipe#437112.

Steps:
- Wash all peppers, cut off stems.
- Remove membrane and seeds from bell peppers, dice small about 1/8 inch pieces, the chunks will stay that size even after running through the Jam cycle, cut enough to fill 2 1/4 cups worth.
- Protect your hands with rubber gloves while working with the jalapeno peppers, if you want the jam to be spicy hot leave the seeds in the jalapeno peppers. (The first time I made this, I left seeds in one but thought it too hot.) Second time I made, I deseeded all halves and it came out too mild -- so next time I plan on cutting both jalapeno peppers in half, leaving seeds in 1/4 and deseeding the remaining 3/4. Cut into small pieces, about 1/8 inch.
- Attach kneading blade in the bread pan.
- Place ingredients into the bread pan as listed above.
- Carefully insert bread pan inot breadmaker, close lid, press the Menu button until the Jam program is selected, and start.
- When the Jam cycle is complete, open the lid and using oven mitts, remove the pan.
- Let jam cool.
- Using oven mitts to hold pan, use rubber spatula to pour the jam into a glass or plastic container.
- Cover and refrigerate to set, about 24 hours.

YEAR 'ROUND SPICED PEACH JAM (IN YOUR BREAD MACHINE)
I was amazed that there were no recipes on zaar for jams that you can make in your bread machine! This is from my bread machine manual. Only for if you have a jam program on your bread machine! I just tried this out today because I am going to make an assortment of jams for Christmas gifts, and it was quite good. I would recommend using no more than the amount of spices listed - it is very strong. Also, I read that you should only use low-sugar pectin recipes in the bread machine. I didn't cut up the peach slices in the first batch I made, so in the second, I cut them up pretty small because the agitator doesn't do much to chop them up, like they normally would if you were stirring it constantly in a pot.

SEVEN SURPRISING THINGS YOU CAN COOK IN A BREAD MAKER
From trustedreviews.com
Estimated Reading Time 8 mins
- Cake. Cake is probably the most common item besides bread that you can prepare in a bread maker. The program will usually be named “Bake”, “Bake only”, or just “Cake”.
- Meatloaf. A more unconventional way to make use of your “Bake” or “Cake” program is to bake a meatloaf. As with cake, you’re simply using your bread maker as an oven, so remember to remove the kneading blade.
- Jam. Most bread makers have a Jam setting – a program that heats and stirs the breadpan’s contents for a few hours. Your manual should come with a basic recipe, but there are plenty available online.
- Sauces and soups. Sauces and soups are an easy leap to make from jam. The machine will simply mix the ingredients while heating them, so you may need to puree the final contents at the end of the process for a smooth consistency, but chances are you’d have to do that with a sauce or soup cooked on the stove anyway.
- Rice dishes. You can use your bread maker as a rice cooker: add rice and water to the bread pan on the “Bake” or “Cake” setting and cook for about an hour.
- Scrambled eggs. You can also use your bread maker’s Jam setting to cook some eggs. Mix all the ingredients together beforehand, adding milk and any seasoning to your preference – the machine’s stirring will not be strong enough to beat the eggs properly.
- Yoghurt. Some bread makers, such as the Morphy Richards Homebake, include a program for making yoghurt. Since yoghurt-making programs tend to be at least five or six hours long, it’s unlikely any other setting on your breadmaker would be a suitable alternative.
