1 cup butter, softened
1/4 cup white sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 (3 1/2 ounce) package vanilla instant pudding mix
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 eggs
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 (6 ounce) package chocolate chips
3/4 cup plain M&M's plain chocolate candy
1 cup walnuts, chopped

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350.
  • In a large mixer bowl, combine butter, sugars, pudding mix and vanilla.
  • Beat in eggs.
  • Add flour and baking soda, and mix well.
  • Stir in chocolate chips, nuts, and half the M&M candies. Mix well.
  • Pour into a greased 9x13" baking pan.
  • Top with remaining M&M candies.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes.
  • Cool, then cut with a sharp knife.

I found this recipe on a site called bakeorbreak.com when I was looking for a recipe to use up a bag of M&M's in something for my daughter's Fall Festival. They turned out really good, and the leftovers stayed moist for about four days. They might last longer, but ours disappeared pretty quickly.

2 cups all-purpose flour (I used whole wheat flour and they were good)
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour (I used whole wheat flour and they were good)
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup unsalted butter, melted and cooled
1 cup packed light brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 large egg
1 large egg yolk
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups M&M's

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 325°. Line baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone liners. (I skipped lining my trays).
  • Whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  • Using an electric mixer on medium speed, beat butter, brown sugar, and sugar until smooth.
  • Add egg, egg yolk, and vanilla. Beat until combined.
  • Reduce mixer speed to low. Gradually add flour mixture, and mix just until combined.
  • Stir in M&Ms.
  • Roll dough into 1.5" balls. (Or, use a cookie scoop).
  • Place onto prepared pans, leaving about 2 inches between cookies. (They REALLY spread).
  • Bake, one pan at a time, for 15-20 minutes, or until edges are beginning to brown and the centers are still soft. Cook time is per pan.
  • Cool on pans for about 10 minutes. Serve warm or transfer to wire racks to cool completely.

227 g butter, softened
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
3 teaspoons vanilla
1 cup peanut butter
2 cups plain flour
2 (180 g) packets M&M's

Steps:

  • preheat oven to 180 Celsius grease and line a 9 x 13 baking dish with baking paper.
  • using an electric mixer, beat together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  • add the egg, peanut butter, and vanilla.
  • turning the mixer to low, add the flour and beat till well combined.
  • stir in 1 1/2 packets of M & Ms.
  • press cookie dough into baking dish.
  • press the rest of the M & M's into the top of the dough.
  • bake for 20­ to 25 minutes. until golden on top.
  • cool completely in dish.
  • cut into squares to serve.

1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup packed dark brown sugar
5 tablespoons margarine or 5 tablespoons butter, softened
2 large eggs
2/3 cup packed dark brown sugar
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup pecans, chopped
1 cup sweetened flaked coconut
3/4 cup butterscotch chips

Steps:

  • Prepare Crust: Preheat oven to 375°F.
  • Grease 8x8-inch or 9x9-inch metal baking pan.
  • Line pan with foil; grease foil.
  • With fingertips, mix flour, brown sugar, and margarine or butter in prepared pan until soft dough forms.
  • Press dough firmly onto bottom of pan.
  • Bake Crust 15 to 20 minutes, until lightly browned.
  • Meanwhile, prepare Pecan-Butterscotch Filling: In large bowl, with wire whisk or fork, beat eggs with brown sugar, flour, vanilla, and salt just until blended.
  • Stir in pecans, coconut, and butterscotch chips.
  • Pour filling over warm Crust.
  • Bake 20 to 25 minutes, until lightly browned around the edges and filling is set.
  • Cool completely in pan on wire rack.
  • Cover and refrigerate at least 5 hours or overnight for easier cutting.
  • When cold, transfer with foil to cutting board.
  • Cut into 8 strips, then cut each strip crosswise into 8 squares.

These easy treats are a fave that my mom always made at Christmas time. She would always take them to cookie exchanges, and they were always the first to be gone when they were around. (Cooking time does not include refrigeration time)

Number Of Ingredients 8

2 cups graham cracker crumbs
1/2 cup margarine or 1/2 cup butter, Melted
2 tablespoons sugar
1 (7 ounce) bag coconut
1 (8 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
12 ounces chocolate chips
4 -6 tablespoons peanut butter

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees f.
  • Line 13 x 9 baking sheet with foil, and spray with Pam.
  • Melt Butter.
  • Mix together Graham Cracker Crumbs, Melted Butter and Sugar.
  • Press crumb mixture into a 13 x 9 baking sheet.
  • Bake the crust for 8 minutes until "set" and golden.
  • Remove Crust from oven.
  • While crust is baking, mix together Condensed Milk, Coconut, and Vanilla.
  • Gently spread Coconut Mixture on crust, and return to oven for 15 minutes (or until the coconut is golden).
  • While baking, mix Chocolate Chips and Peanut Butter.
  • Remove from oven and spread chocolate mixture on top.
  • Place in refrigerator to harden.
  • Cut into bars and have at it!
