Steps:
- Put the chicken wings, buttermilk and 1/2 tsp salt in a bowl and toss together to coat. Cover and leave in the fridge overnight.
- Heat oven to 200C/180C fan/ gas 6. Put all the ingredients for the spice mix in another large mixing bowl with a pinch of salt and mix well. Remove the wings from the fridge and, one at a time, roll them in the spice mix. Once fully coated, tip onto a baking tray lined with baking parchment, and roast for 35 mins. Meanwhile, mix the ingredients for the glaze together.
- Once the wings have browned, remove them from the oven and generously brush with the glaze. Reduce oven to 180C/160C fan/ gas 4, put the wings back in and cook for a further 15 mins or until the glaze has gone sticky and is starting to caramelise. Remove the wings from the oven and rest for a minute or so. Serve with a blue cheese dip, if you like.

- In a small bowl mix together the flour, paprika, cayenne pepper and salt. Place chicken wings in a large nonporous glass dish or bowl and sprinkle flour mixture over them until they are evenly coated. Cover dish or bowl and refrigerate for 60 to 90 minutes.
- Heat oil in a deep fryer to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). The oil should be just enough to cover wings entirely, an inch or so deep. Combine the butter, hot sauce, pepper and garlic powder in a small saucepan over low heat. Stir together and heat until butter is melted and mixture is well blended. Remove from heat and reserve for serving.
- Fry coated wings in hot oil for 10 to 15 minutes, or until parts of wings begin to turn brown. Remove from heat, place wings in serving bowl, add hot sauce mixture and stir together. Serve.

Steps:
- Spray the basket of a 3.5-quart air fryer with cooking spray and set aside. Pat the chicken wings dry and sprinkle generously with salt. Place the wings in the fryer basket so they are not touching (if necessary to fit, line up the drumettes standing upright along the sides). Set the air fryer to 360 degrees F and cook for 12 minutes, then flip the wings with tongs and cook for 12 minutes more. Flip the wings again, increase the heat to 390 degrees F and cook until the outsides are extra-crispy, about 6 minutes more.
- Meanwhile, warm the butter in a microwave-safe bowl in the microwave until melted, about 1 minute. Whisk in the hot sauce.
- Toss the wings with the butter mixture to coat in a large bowl and serve with dressing on the side.

BEST HOT WINGS
I found this on another website as a Hooter's Clone. It really is the best I have ever tasted and a frequent request from my guests. The Franks Red Hot makes the difference. Oh, and heat the sauce over VERY LOW heat or it will seperate. If you let the wings sit for a bit they will become moist an you can do the second breading without the egg wash. Enjoy!

Steps:
- Combine breading in a bowl or gallon sized ziplock bag, coat chicken with flour mixture. Then dip floured chicken briefly in beaten egg (add a little bit of water to thin slightly) and again dredge in flour. Set aside.
- Gently melt butter in pan, add Franks Red Hot, pepper and garlic powder. Be careful to keep the heat medium to medium low, and do not boil or butter will separate and the mixture will not stay blended. (If that happens, whisk it real quick and carry on anyway).
- Fry chicken in a single layer (9-10 drumettes at a time) in deep fryer at 375°F for 12 - 13 minutes (so they are nice and crispy). Drain briefly in fry basket.
- Pour half of the sauce into a glass container with a tight fitting lid. Dump in the chicken, put on the lid and carefully shake, coating the entire wing with sauce. Remove from container and set on a plate. The breading will absorb the sauce within a minute or so. Serve with celery sticks and either Ranch or Blue Cheese dressing.
- (Note: When tripling the recipe, only double the sauce and breading. There will be plenty).
- Serves:.

- Mix all the ingredients (minus the vegan butter and hot sauce, this is added separately!) into a mixing bowl.
- The batter shouldn't be so thick that it doesn't drip, but also not so thin that it doesn't coat or stick to the cauliflower. If you're using rice flour, you may need to add a little more liquid to get the batter the right consistency. It tends to be slightly thicker.

THE TOP 10 BEST CHAIN RESTAURANT WINGS ACROSS ... - FOODBEAST
From foodbeast.com
- Bonchon Chicken. That global wing powerhouse is Bonchon Chicken, the Korean fried chicken and wings specialist from abroad. They only serve up two flavors: sticky and sweet soy garlic, and spicy hot garlic, but that's all they need, to be honest.
- Wingstop. What sets Wingstop above all of the others so far on this list is its consistency. Regardless of what flavor wings you're ordering here, they're going to perfectly crispy and juicy every single time.
- Hooter's. Hooter's doesn't get a ton of publicity for their food, but they still know how to crank out a fire wing. They also put more unique twists on them than any other chain on this list, with bacon-wrapped wings being the craziest of them all.
- Anchor Bar. Anchor Bar claims to be the inventor of the buffalo wing, saying that Teressa Bellissimo first cooked them in the original Buffalo restaurant back in 1964.
- Popeye's. When at a fried chicken joint, ordering the leg, thigh, or breast usually takes precedence over the wings. However, like the rest of their cuts, Popeye's makes a pretty fire wing, and while their sauce lineup is pretty basic, the breading they put on their chicken is magical.
- Zaxby's. You won't find a location of this national fried chicken chain west of Utah, but Zaxby's has established itself as a powerhouse in the world of tenders and wings.
- Wingstreet/Pizza Hut. Pizza Hut puts so much effort into their wings that they've even got a separate brand specifically for them. It takes a special level of dedication to separate the wings and pizza business under one restaurant, and for that, the Hut deserves some major kudos.
- Applebee's. Applebee's is more in the news these days for their discounted drinks, but these wings are a decent accompaniment to those Dollaritas. They're just a notch above Buffalo in terms of quality, especially with the extra crunch on their twice-battered bone-in wings factored in.
- Buffalo Wild Wings. Given B-dub's recognition, chances are you're puzzled why it's near the bottom of this list and not near the top. For us, it's because we weren't usually there because we thought they were the best wings, we stopped by to get great deals on them.
- Domino's. Domino's has a trio of flavors to offer for their wings: traditional buffalo, BBQ, and Mango Habanero. They're a decent accompaniment to the pizza, but Domino's doesn't give these pieces of chicken the love they deserve.

- Kale and Brussels Sprout Caesar Slaw. Instead of traditional eggs, the vegan dressing leans on blanched almonds and sunflower seeds for creaminess. (Oh, and this is the easiest way to shred Brussels sprouts, BTW.)
- Whole-Wheat Feta Tart with Caramelized Onions and Herbs. The bready tart crust, sweet onions and briny feta-cream cheese filling are just the foils for acidic, spicy hot wings.
- Charcuterie Board Flatbread. Our favorite dishes are those that are elegant and delicious without requiring a moment of cooking. Consider this creamy, crunchy, burrata-topped delight our top choice.
- Malibu Farm’s Vegan Chop Salad. We all know that the tastiest salads are those that are crowned with a million exciting toppings. This veggie-rich beauty stars butternut squash, roasted beets, kale, quinoa, cherry tomatoes, chickpeas and more.
- Crockpot Corn Chowder. There's truly no better way to use up your farmers market haul of fresh summer corn. Finish your bowl with a few extra kernels, freshly cracked black pepper and a dollop of sour cream, if you're feeling decadent.
- Avocado ‘Fries’ They're creamy, crunchy and straight-up life-changing. Dip them in ranch dressing and thank us later.
- Greek Wedge Salad. The classic dish is wonderfully simple, but all that bacon and blue cheese... oof. This Greek-inspired rendition of the wedge salad is much lighter.
- Spicy Corn Carbonara. Imagine a plate of pasta that’s lusciously creamy, but not heavy. Enter this summer star that's teeming with fresh corn and bacon.
- Gluten-Free Cheese and Cauliflower ‘Breadsticks’ Unlimited breadsticks, very few carbs. Sounds like a dream, but we promise it's real. (That's the magic of cauliflower.)
