Steps:
- Combine the basil leaves and water in a saucepan. Bring to a boil and simmer very gently for 5 minutes.
- Add the tea, ginger, honey, and peppercorns and bring back to a boil.
- Remove from the heat and steep, covered, for 5 more minutes.
- Just before serving, return to a boil and strain into tea cups.

This recipe has been submitted for play in ZWT8 - India. This recipe was found on Indian Food Forever . Now this sounds good. I often am left wondering what I'm going to do with all the basil growing in the garden. What a great use for it. Please note: Cooking time is for steeping of the tea.

Steps:
- In a small pan bring water and basil leaves to boil.
- Lower the heat and allow to brew for 3-4 minutes.
- Now add the tea leaves or tea bags and sugar to your taste and bring to a boil.
- Turn off the heat and strain the tea into cups and add milk as per your taste.
HONEY VANILLA WHITE TEA CHAI

YOGI TEA
It's said that yogi tea purifies the blood .. lungs .. and circulatory system .. along with other benefits .. such as making one happy!

Steps:
- Bring water to a fast boil in a stainless steel pot.
- Add whole cloves and let them dance for about 1 minute.
- Add peppercorns, cinnamon, cardamom and gingerroot.
- Turn heat down so it is just simmering, cover, and let lightly boil for 45-60 minutes.
- Finally, add black tea bag and boil another 5 minute.
- If adding milk & honey, do so after adding the tea bag and letting it steep- (** OR BETTER yet add milk and honey to individual cups or a small batch. That way you can store the raw tea in the fridge and prepare with milk and honey as you go).
- After adding milk and or honey, bring to a boil one last time.
- Remove from heat, and let sit for another hour (or overnight). This way it gets nice and strong so you can best enjoy this potent spice blend!
- Strain and refrigerate.
- Enjoy!
